The receptionist wanted to give a terrace room with no doors/privacy even for an expensive month long booking. Despite confirming that we will be provided with a proper one bedroom apartment with seperate living and bedroom area. The receptionist made unnecessary comments during check in process which were rude. On requesting to speak with the manager, later, a proper room was assigned. But he made sure to comment that the room being provided is only for their VIP guests. One would assume that, someone booking for a month long stay should automatically be given one of the best rooms. Overall, the check-in process was unprofessional and was only handled in that way because the receptionist thought they can get away with such behaviour. The property location is good and overall a decent stay otherwise. But one reception staff in particular needs a serious correction of behaviour.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Regent Courts Hotel. The property has a wonderful heritage charm, with its old building structure and a fascinating vintage lift — complete with a metal sliding door and wooden inner door that gave a nostalgic feel. Spacious room with two queen beds, perfect for four people. Beds and duvets were very comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The kitchenette was a great addition, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a Nespresso machine with capsules, milk packets, and other beverage sachets provided. A drip tray and table cloth for drying utensils, pots, and plates would be helpful. The kitchen lighting was too dim in the evenings, making cooking difficult. The knife provided was not sharp and had a chip, which could potentially cause food contamination — replacing it would improve safety. Although a washer was available, we didn’t use it since the dryer was located on the ground floor, which felt inconvenient. The Kings Cross train station is just a 5–7 minute walk away, making travel around Sydney easy. Both Woolworths and Coles supermarkets are about 7 minutes away at the end of the street, perfect for picking up essentials. The staff — from front desk to housekeeping — were consistently polite and welcoming, adding warmth to the stay. A short train trip takes you to Bondi Junction, where you can catch a bus to Bondi Beach — ideal for spending a relaxing day by the ocean. The rooftop was another relaxing spot. We visited briefly to take pictures and enjoy the fresh air. Unfortunately, I was welcomed by tiny dead roaches in the toilet. On departure, I noticed a live one coming in and out of a cracked wall near the basin support. Addressing this issue would greatly improve the overall guest experience. Overall, Regent Courts Hotel is a good place to stay for four nights. The shower, heater, water supply, safety, and lift all had no issues. Its location is accessible, close to supermarkets and the train station. The only drawback was the roach sightings, which should be addressed.

The good: this is a proper resort with proper facilities. There are two pools, two spas and an amazing sauna, although it can get quite crowded. There's also a small gym there. The grounds are quite huge. It's also connected to the Twin Towns conference centre which I'm told has lots of great restaurants, for those who don't want to venture outdoors. There are also certain staff members that are friendlier than others. The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection of food, all of which were delicious. It probably needs more greens though. My request for the empty hand lotion to be refilled was fulfilled promptly. The bad: I was treated differently at the breakfast buffet. Every guest was shown and walked to the table by the server and had their cutlery set up by the server. Except for me, that is. On my first day, I was given my set of cutlery and had to find my own table and seat. On my second day, I was shown halfway, then handed my set of cutlery to make the rest of the way on my own. It's a small difference in the way I was treated but by no means unnoticeable especially as it happened two days in a row. Perhaps it's because I was the only solo Asian guest there. I do think that if we are all paying for the same service we should be treated the same way. The second issue I had was that the toilet seat got detached. I had requested for it to be fixed, and it did not - so I sat in a toilet seat that was in danger of falling off during my stay. The third issue is that the hotel is located near a venue that blares out live music with lots of bass starting very late at night - which is when people usually sleep. No fault of the hotel though, it's just that they are located near other places that play loud music. Finally - it would help to have more reception staff as there is always a queue, and my second phone call to follow up on my detached toilet seat was not answered even though it had been ringing for 5 minutes.

Facilities: As an apartment, the room is incredibly spacious and comes equipped with everything you could need – a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, stove, pots, pans, dishes, a safe, iron, and TV... more amenities than I even have at home! Cleanliness: Spotless and incredibly clean. It doesn't look like an apartment that's been operating for five years; it feels brand new, like it just opened. Environment: It's right next to Sydney Airport's T2 terminal (domestic flights), a 10-minute walk to the airport. Plus, the soundproofing in the room is excellent; the aircraft noise isn't loud at all. It's a perfect place to stay overnight if you're catching a flight. Service: The front desk staff are friendly and go out of their way to help with any issues.

Facilities: A huge plus! It has a stove, microwave, oven, full-sized fridge, and a dishwasher! All the pots and pans are there too! You just need to head to the supermarket for meat and seasonings. Cleanliness: Decent. We took out our own trash. Environment: The location is fantastic! It's near Chinatown, and a Coles supermarket is right across the street. Even better, there's an Asian supermarket on the floor below Coles! You can find any meat and vegetables you could possibly want! I highly recommend the steak from Coles that comes with a small pat of butter! No need for extra seasoning, it's super convenient! It cooks up just like a restaurant steak!! However, the balcony in this room doesn't have soundproof glass, so it can be noisy at night, but once you're asleep, it's fine. Service: Not much service. The email stated there wouldn't be cleaning. We had to go downstairs ourselves to ask for fresh towels. We also took out our own trash. Overall, it's still pretty good and suitable for large families traveling together. Cooking your own meals is a great option! Downstairs, there are three Malatang places: Yang Guo Fu, Zhang Liang, and one more! You'll never go hungry. Grab a takeaway Malatang, then head to the supermarket to buy more vegetables, meat, noodles, and tofu to add to it – you can go crazy with the toppings! Of course, we've also thoroughly enjoyed Sydney's local restaurants, steaks, and kangaroo meat! Western food is also delicious! Steaks, fries, pork ribs, and fish and chips! All good! Especially the pork ribs! They're perfect for kids!

We stayed in Room 323, just next to gym and pool room. Was worried with noise as We stayed from Wednesday night till Sunday morning check out. My worries were unfounded. Had a pleasant 4 night stay. Living room was spacious and equipped with a clean kitchen and dining table. Washing machine and dryer are separate and hidden behind door. Useful! Bedroom has a king bed, spacious and comfortable. Aircon control in bedroom is separate. Best location of hotel as surrounded with lots of eateries. We highly recommend Malaysian restaurant selling delicious chicken rice and sambal kangkong! Another shop is Into Laksa. Delicious and reasonably priced. Woolsworth supermarket is just a short walk away!! Meriton Mascot is considered an airport hotel as it’s near airport and just 2 stops to city, circular quay stop. I used the super bus shuttle via klook. Convenient hotel drop off and pick up. Only passengers. No need worry uber driver complained too many luggage. Meriton is kind to load long umbrellas on raining days. Just remember to return after each day use and borrow again the following day. Otherwise you may be charged AUD50 for not returning. They do ask your room number.

I had a great stay at ADGE Hotel Sydney and would happily stay here again. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent throughout my stay, with the room cleaned to a consistently high standard every day. The only area that could be improved is the air conditioning. At times, the temperature settings didn’t seem to respond properly, making it difficult to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The location is good, although it’s about a 15-minute walk to the nearest train station, so it’s something to keep in mind if you rely on public transport. That said, the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants and cafés, making it a pleasant place to stay. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return on my next visit to Sydney.

Our group of four friends stayed at Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites as part of a reunion trip, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One of the biggest highlights is the building itself. The property is housed in a beautifully restored heritage building, giving it plenty of character and charm that you don't often find in modern hotels. The high ceilings, exposed brickwork, and unique architecture made the stay feel distinctly Sydney. The location at Darling Harbour was excellent. We were within easy walking distance of restaurants, bars, attractions, and the waterfront, making it a great base for exploring the city. Public transport was also easily accessible, which made getting around very convenient. Our apartment was spacious and well-equipped, providing plenty of room for four grown men to relax after a full day of sightseeing. The kitchenette and laundry facilities were particularly useful, especially during a longer trip. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth, and any questions we had were promptly attended to. While some parts of the property show their age, it is understandable given the heritage nature of the building. In our view, this added to the character rather than detracted from the experience. Overall, Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites offers an excellent combination of location, space, character, and value for money. Whether you're travelling with family or a group of friends, it is a fantastic base from which to experience Sydney. We would happily stay here again on our next visit.

The hotel is great overall, this the really good location that you just 1 mins walk to Green Square Station, 2 stop by Central. Hotel is really convenient, they having washing machine and dryer, microwave and most of the thing like a small apartment. Recommend this hotel

The staff at the check-in counter was so nice to offer us a quiet room and with city view. Everything was tidy and neat. Only that if disposable slippers could be provided, it would be so much better because the floor is all carpet which seems yucky walking with barefoot.
