We had a very nice stay in this apartment. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. The location was top: central and ideal to explore Vancouver. The communication with the renter was also very flexible and pleasant.

This room was a bit inconvenient. When we wanted to cook, we found that only one of the four stove burners was working, which made it difficult to prepare meals.
During bathing, we also heard an alarm sound, likely indicating that the heat pump needs maintenance.
Aside from these issues, everything else was fine and met our expectations.

Welcome to "The Home Place" in Bear Mountain - gorgeous new 1 bedroom suite with separate entrance. Guests will have a private space during their visit. Walking in the area, you will have an overlooking of Victoria. Bear Mountain Golf Club, YMCA, Starlight Stadium, Costco, Langford Lake Park & Goldstream Provincial Park are all within 10 mins drive and it just takes 20 mins to downtown Victoria through Highway 1. The place is also close to amenities including groceries store, restaurant & bank.

KKathlyn JoyToday was my second booking with the hotel and im very satisfied with almost everything. The location is very convenient as there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Even the sky train is just a few minutes walk. That aside, the hotel is very clean and neat. Few kitchen stuff is also provided. Staff is also friendly and approachable.

IIsaac1994Although the facilities are old but quite clean and in line with the price, there is something missing that can be obtained from the counter. The breakfast in the cooperative store is quite delicious. The only drawback is that the wifi is not stable enough.

CCindyTsangThe location is slightly off downtown; if you have a car, it's not a problem. Street parking is fine; you can pay $19 for a night. The flat is huge for two people. The facilities are in good condition. There are two Dyson fans, one in the living room and another in the bedroom. We were here in the summer, but the temperature at night was around 12-14. It's good not to have AC in the room, and the room still feels cool enough with the balcony door and the bottom windows opened in the bedroom and the living room, even without turning on the fans. There are washing machines with a drying function in the room, which are free to use, but you must bring your detergents or buy them at the front desk. I liked the living environment and the fresh air here. As it's off the main road, I enjoyed the silent evening without traffic noise.

LLyssaGThe Alpen Motel was very clean and well located between Radium Hot Springs Village and the hot springs themselves. The Sinclair canyon is a beautiful sight a short walk up the hill. The room was small, but had everything needed including AC for the uncharacteristically hot weather. The whole experience was very hands off, with the office being at the Apple Tree Inn across the street.
Unfortunately housekeeping did not come while we were out, so we did not have refreshed coffee for the second morning. The power also went out twice (night and then again in the morning) and there was no backup power source. This is of course no fault of the hotel’s, but it would have been nice to have an emergency light source in the room.

GGuest UserThe facility is poorly maintained. There was visible mold throughout the unit, especially in the bathroom. The hair dryer didn’t work, the coffee maker was dirty, fridge wasn’t cooling well, no ice machine, there were insects around the room, and the place was noticeably dusty. My wife even started having an asthma attack due to the poor air quality. For $420 a night, I expected much better.
Staff are very friendly though. And the location is great!

We especially loved the delicious complimentary snacks. Plus, there's a charming little stream right by the hotel, perfect for taking photos.

The large glass window in the living room allows you to see the snow outside! The balcony view is also very pleasing to the eye! I really like hot tube too! It is definitely suitable for families with elderly and children!
