Pros: Stayed at Room 203 meant for 5 person… Spacious and comfortable room! Had a window too! Good soundproofing between rooms. Only could hear passing by of trains while awake, so wasn’t a big an issue to us. TV has YouTube and Netflix to watch! Cons: No lift!!! We had to carry our heavy & big luggages to the 2nd floor! *Should indicate shortage of this important facility in the booking system! Only 2 parking spaces for 7 units. *Should also indicate in the booking system that parking spaces are first come first served and have to park at nearby paying car parks if both were being taken up. Will be nice to provide some garbage bags in the room as clearing of food waste from the room was definitely necessary during the many days of our stay! Dining table (super wobbly and one side of the table legs seemed like giving away very soon) needs to changed/repaired instantly!

I stayed in Beppu for three nights. This residential hotel was in a super convenient location, just 2 minutes from Donki. The kitchen was nice, and the washing machine had a bit of a smell, but it's essential for families with kids. The bathroom was also a drying room, so after showering at night, I did the laundry and hung it up to dry, experiencing a taste of Japanese family life. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, which was inconvenient for those with heavy luggage staying on the second floor. Beppu has Kyushu Natural Zoo, Oita Aquarium, Takasakiyama Monkey Park, and Beppu Hell. It's not boring even if you don't go shopping.

The Sunshine Room has its own private outdoor hot spring bath, and the bedroom features a tatami-style setup. Check-in is self-service; the host provides a password for the electronic door lock. The place is very clean and comfortable overall, and there's a free washing machine available for use. It's a short walk to Lake Kinrin. The only downside is that the accommodation is hard to find; it's located down a small alley, which then turns into a tiny dead-end street. The parking space at the entrance isn't very large. There's a signpost in one of the photos below; when you see it, turn left, go past two small alleys, then turn right, and you'll see it. Due to our itinerary, we only stayed one night this time, but we hope to stay for a few more days next time.

Nice self check in hotel. Received the check in code in morning of check in. This hotel has no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage up stairs. We were lucky to get the ground floor unit. Good laundry facilities with washing machine, washing power, dryer inside the bathroom. Cooking facilities was good. Clean and beds were comfy.

A very comfortable stay! The standalone villa offers ample space, and all the in-room hardware and software facilities are comprehensive. My family particularly enjoyed the private hot spring tub and sauna room – everything is incredibly well-maintained and looks brand new. We brought six suitcases, and even with all of them open, there was still plenty of room to move around. Highly recommend this accommodation if you love spacious living. The day before check-in, the host emailed us the room number and access code. We were able to complete the online check-in using the link in the email and received a check-in QR code. Upon arrival, we simply scanned the code to complete the check-in process – super convenient! 👍 Even though it was a completely unstaffed property during our two-night stay, my family didn't feel any inconvenience at all.

This time it was a parent-child self-driving tour, because the homestay only had mobile phone contact numbers, the car gps could not be located, it was already dark nearby, and there were many homestays with the same appearance nearby, which took a while to find. The homestay is a little depreciated, but the sanitary facilities are OK, the sound insulation is poor, this time I stayed underground, and I heard it clearly when I walked upstairs. Beppu is an excellent choice. The accommodation is located on the upper floor of a shop. The space is very, very large. The indoor equipment and materials are all high-end goods, and all the necessary facilities for life are available. The industrial style interior decoration does not give you the feeling of staying in a hotel, but rather a home feeling. If you can only check in after 6 o'clock, remember to ask the boss for the password required for the check-in procedure. This is only the password for entering the store for the first time. There is an iPad on the counter inside. Follow the procedure displayed on the iPad to check in. Then a password to enter your room will be displayed. This password is also the password to enter the store later. Parking can be done in parking lot 1 or 2 according to the map provided by the store, and there are ample parking spaces.

全般的にはとても良かったと思います。JRの駅に近く、周りには温泉も複数あり、スーパーや飲食店にも徒歩圏内です。卓上ミラーを誤って落として片側を割ってしまいました。すいません。代わりになるものを１００円ショップで購入しておきました。機能的には劣るかもしれませんが、お使いいただければと。 ２点、改善いただきたい点があります。 1. エアコンの掃除をした方が良いです。中の熱交換器が埃に覆われているため、効率が悪いです。掃除することで電気代も下がると思いますし、もっと冷えると思います。 2. 長期滞在なのにゴミの無料回収が１回のみでした。夏場の暑い時期なので、せめて週に１回は回収していただきたいです。または分別方法、捨てる方法を教えていただければ対応可能ですので、そのあたりは宿泊者や宿泊数に応じて臨機応変に対応いただけると助かります。 以上です。大変お世話になりました。もしまた別府に行く機会があれば、利用したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

The place I located 10 minute walk from Beppu station. The checkin is done through a tablet on the reception. Unmanned. Make sure you have the entrance pin code. Not the easiest of checkins. The walls in the bathroom are dusty, the AC too. The bathroom is not heated, so very cold. We had the AC on max, still very cold, there was a cold draft from one of the light switches. The beds are comfy and clean.

The attention points such as customers on the 2nd floor were written in the laminate precautions, but I felt noisy because I could hear the footsteps and the sound of dragging chairs conspicuously! But it was very easy to spend and the washing machine and tableware were very good!
