Engelberg means “the town of angels”. It’s a famous skiing and hot spring resort town located close to Lucerne and below the Titlis. It’s absolutely breathtaking here with lots of natural resources. Backed up against Titlis with snow and glaciers that are thousands years old; it is a place where visitors can enjoy all kinds of sports like skiing, bungee-jumping, paragliding, mountain biking, and more. After enjoying the Alpine style snow and ice in Titlis, visitors can head back to the abbey at the foot of the hill to see how “Engelberg cheese” is made, as well as check out the villa built back in the 17th century.
