The pier is situated on the southern shore of the principal city of Qingdao. It is a marine promenade that stretches from the land into the water for 440 meters. The pier has a century-long history and was constructed in 1892, during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. Now considered a symbol of Qingdao, it was once an artificial military wharf in the early days of the city. The modern history of Qingdao is attested to by the Huilan Pavilion at the end of the pier. These days, the pavilion showcases Qingdao's distinctive urban characteristics, like as modern and current history, the humanities, and folk customs, through thematic exhibitions.

The trestle bridge located on the western seashore of Qingdao is worth a visit. The experience is very good. It takes half an hour to walk around. In winter, you can bring your own steamed bread to feed the seagulls. Children like it very much. There is a beach next to it, where you can catch crabs. It is recommended
The Zhejiang Road Catholic Church is situated in Qingdao City's South District on Zhejiang Road. St. Michael's Church was its original name. It is a Western-style building that was constructed in 1934. Every Sunday, the church hosts Sunday Mass, which is open to non-believers as well. You are not permitted to run around and visit the church during service, though. You are not allowed to take pictures, make loud noises, or sit in the back row.
Address: No. 15, Zhejiang Road, Shinan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province
Business hours: Open from 08:30-18:00 tomorrow (no admission at 17:30)

The Catholic Church in the old city of Qingdao is worth a visit. It is close to the Zhongshan Road commercial district and can be visited together. The experience is very good. The church is a historical and cultural heritage with a history of a hundred years. It takes about half an hour to visit. It is recommended
Dayaogou in the north and Zhanqiao in the south are connected by Zhongshan Road. It was established in 1897, under the German rule, and is roughly 1,500 meters long. At first, it was separated into two parts. German and other European and American expats resided on Fedeli Street, which runs south from the pier to Dexian Road. The northern portion from Dexian Road to Dayaogou was the "Baodao District," where Chinese people resided; this area is sometimes referred to as the "Baohua District" or the major road. Historically, it was known as the "Qingdao District," also known as the "European District."
Japan took Germany's place in 1914 and colonized Qingdao for eight years. There are still remnants of Japanese shops along the route, which was renamed Shizuoka Town. After Qingdao was reclaimed by China in 1922, it was renamed Shandong Road. In honor of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, it was renamed Zhongshan Road on May 22, 1929.
Similar to Wangfujing in Beijing and Nanjing Road in Shanghai, Zhongshan Road was previously a well-known business hub in old Qingdao. The renowned "Shengxifu" shoe and hat store, the aromatic "Chunhelou," the legendary "Hongrentang" pharmacy, the century-old hotel "Fushengde" tea house, and of course the "Aide" of Hendry tea are just a few of the well-known hundred-year-old establishments that can be found here.
This street is lined with vendors selling dried seafood, including medium and low-end items like prawns, dried shrimps, squid, clams, grilled fish, grilled shrimps, dried shrimps, and kelp, as well as maritime delicacies such sea cucumbers, abalone, and shark fins. You may get all of the island city's unique delicacies here. "Pichayuan Hutong" can be found across from the National Products Company on Zhongshan Road.
Address: Intersection of Zhongshan Road and Tianjin Road, Shibei District, Qingdao
Opening hours: Please contact the attraction to confirm specific opening hours
evaluate:
Zhongshan Road is the most prosperous and historic commercial and pedestrian street in Qingdao. The south end of the street is the pier. Going north, it passes Parkson Center, Joy City Shopping Plaza, Catholic Church, Pichaiyuan and reaches the German Pedestrian Street. It reproduces the original historical style of old Qingdao and is a must-visit place for tourists.
The historic manufacturing building of the Qingdao Brewery, which dates back a century, is home to the Qingdao Beer Museum. The roadside roofs are adorned with striking, enormous beer cans, and the red cottages are quite lovely. Here, you may sample real Tsingtao Beer, witness the vintage beer-making equipment, and discover more about the company's history. In the square, there is a statue of Bacchus as well. There are pubs selling Tsingtao Beer and seafood booths along the well-known Dengzhou Road Beer Street, which is located at the entrance to the Tsingtao Beer Museum.

The student ticket for A+B Hall is 50 yuan, which is enough for viewing. There are many paid experience projects, more than ten in total, basically one every few steps, such as the wonderful experience of Dionysus. It is too expensive and not worth it. I didn't go to any of them. I went out and had two beers, which were not bad. There are also delicious beer beans.
Qingdao Zhongshan Park is home to the Taipingshan Sightseeing Cableway. It is an aerial corridor that links the peacefulness of nature with the busy city. A panoramic picture of Qingdao city can be obtained by riding the sightseeing cableway to a high altitude. The cableway is 1,100 meters long and includes three stations: Taiping Mountain, Zhongshan Park, and Zhanshan Temple. The cableway is an outdoor observation platform that may accommodate two passengers. The Yellow Sea in the west and Laoshan Mountain in the east are seen. By taking the ropeway, visitors can travel through the dense trees, soar above the treetops, and fully enjoy the charm of the city with "red tiles, green trees, blue sea and blue sky". Experience a dreamlike journey between the bustling city and the tranquility of nature.

The southeast shore of Qingdao city is home to May Fourth Square. To honor the May Fourth Movement, it was constructed. The square is where the famous Qingdao artwork "May Wind" stands, and it is particularly lovely at night when illuminated by lights. You can come here in the summer to take in the view of the sea, which includes the Olympic Sailing Center's sailboats and the lighthouse across the bay. Here, the sunset over the ocean is equally stunning.

May Fourth Square is located on Donghai West Road, Shinan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province. The May Fourth Square is named after the May Fourth Movement and is divided into two areas, north and south, with Donghai Road as the boundary. The north area is mainly composed of lawns between green avenues, with a fountain in the center; the south area consists of an open-air stage, a dot fountain, a sea-viewing and moon-facing platform, and a sculpture "May Wind", with a total area of 100,000 square meters. It is an important red cultural education base that promotes the May Fourth patriotic spirit and inspires people to work hard.
Mount Laoshan is situated in Qingdao's eastern region, which has a southern and eastern boundary with the Yellow Sea. The "Famous Mountain on the Sea" is its name. A massive peak rising to a height of almost 1,100 meters is its highest point. Laoshan's vastness, magnificence, originality, and beauty have made it a well-known Taoist mountain. It has long been known for its sea of clouds, sunrises, and Taoist temples.
The seven picturesque locations that make up Laoshan are Jufeng, Liuqing, Taiqing, Qipanshi, Yangkou, Beijiushui, and Hualou. Three land lines (South Line, East Line, and Central Line) and one water route make up the four tour routes. Together, these picturesque locations—the moon on the crystal-clear water, the fairy mound on the sea cliffs, the stacked stones on the Hualou, the dazzling ripples of the nine waters, the rising sun on the gigantic hills, etc.—make up Laoshan's twelve scenes.
There are fewer tourists in Hualou because it is not in Laoshan District and is far from the coastline. Water makes Beijiushui lovely. There are several streams and springs in the picturesque location, and the landscape is stunning. The Jufeng and Liuqing-Yangkou itineraries are the ones that are truly worth doing for regular travelers. It is sufficient to take one day on each of these two trips. Laoshan's natural beauty can also be found in Jufeng and Yangkou.
One of Laoshan picturesque Area's more established picturesque areas is Liuqing-Yangkou, sometimes referred to as the South Line. It has the well-known tourist destination Taiqing Palace and is near the seaside. The majority of travelers travel this path to go to Laoshan. Liuqing-Taiqing Palace Scenic Area-Huayan Temple is the main entrance to the scenic area, and Yangkou is the destination. Since Yangkou is the focal point of this itinerary, it is advised that you plan ahead to visit the sights.
Taiqing Palace is the setting for Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio's tale of the Taoist priest of Mount Laoshan. Pu Songling penned "The Taoist of Laoshan" here after being moved by the view of Taiqing Palace during his visit. Visitors can observe the wall that Pu Songling claims the Taoist priest of Laoshan climbed over here. The only Buddhist temple still standing in Laoshan is Huayan Temple.
You can glimpse the sea and take in the breeze because Yangkou is near the Yellow Sea. Of course, Yangkou has a difficult foraging cave in addition to its stunning landscape. The cave is tiny, steep, and winding. You can't see your hand in front of you because it's so black. The excursion is much more enjoyable because you have to strain your body to fit through the tiny section. The Foraging Cave is accessible by cable car or foot. To take pictures, take in the beauty, and get a view of the Yellow Sea, you can ascend to the summit of the mountain. Additionally, don't forget to pack a flashlight so you can see the stunning cave environment.
Jufeng Scenic Area is Laoshan's second most picturesque location after Yangkou. Laoshan mountain is the tallest point in Laoshan, while Jufeng is the main mountain. The most physically taxing aspect of Laoshan tourism is mountain climbing, which is the primary activity here. The enormous rocks and summits are breathtaking. On sunny days, you can see the sea; on cloudy days, you can see the sea of clouds. A stunning and endearing image may be seen if you watch the sunrise from the summit of Laoshan.

evaluate:
It was foggy in Qingdao, so I couldn't see the whole view of Laoshan. The price of the cable car was relatively high compared to the ticket price. There were many foods in the scenic area, but the overall planning was a bit messy. You need to pay attention to planning when traveling and ask the staff or some shops in the scenic area in time. If you want to visit the entire line in one day, it will be quite tiring.
Welcome to Xiaomaidao Park, a beachfront park on Qingdao City's golden coastline that blends leisure and recreation with natural beauty. The round island of Xiaomai is covered with a vast expanse of flat, wide, green grassland. You can see the far-off shoreline from the azure-blue sea in the distance. The stunning coastal landscape offers visitors the perfect setting for unwinding and getting in touch with nature.
The park is a wonderful spot for strolls and sunbathing by the sea because of its extensive sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. Here, you may take in the sea wind, play beach games like frisbee and beach volleyball, and experience the energy and allure of the ocean. Along the seaside walk, you may jog or ride a bike and take in the breathtaking views of the sky and sea.
In addition to being a nature lover's delight, Wheat Island Park is a fantastic option for family vacationers. Our kids' play area offers a range of entertaining and safe playthings so kids may enjoy themselves in the great outdoors. | Xiaomai Island used to be a small fishing village, and all the people living on the island were fishermen. Fishermen make a living by going out to sea to fish. Since the reform and opening up, fishermen have opened many specialty snack bars, restaurants and bars on the island using fresh seafood caught at sea as ingredients. Their business has been extremely popular, but it has also caused serious environmental pollution and has been gradually banned. Later, it was not effectively utilized despite several changes. In 2008, Wheat Island was spotted by Dubai World Group, which won the right to develop and build it, planning to turn it into the second Palm Island. However, due to the impact of the global financial crisis, Dubai World Group cancelled its investment intention in Wheat Island in 2010, and Wheat Island has been abandoned ever since. In 2018, Xiaomai Island began an ecological restoration project and gradually carried out supporting construction in accordance with scenic spot standards. The Qingdao Municipal Government has planned Xiaomai Island as an ecological green island with the theme of "Green Ecological Maidao, Blue Healthy Life". The plan not only restores the natural landform, but also forms a colorful visual space by protecting natural reefs and restoring the natural landform. Today, Xiaomai Island has become an important business card of Qingdao's coastal area, attracting a large number of tourists to visit. With the development of Qingdao’s seaside promenade, tourists can now visit Xiaomai Island and the surrounding scenic spots. Including: "Yanerdao Mountain Park", "Yinhai World (Level Zero Scenic Area of the People's Republic of China)" and other attractions on the west side of Xiaomai Island; and "Qingdao Polar Ocean World", "Qingdao Sculpture Park" and other attractions on the east side of Xiaomai Island. |
East of Qingdao City, on the shore of Fushan Bay, is the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. This was the location of the 2008 Beijing Olympic sailing competitions. The beach has a sailboat pier, a cruise ship pier, and a lengthy coastal trail. You can sit on the boat and take in the coastal landscape and the sea as sea viewing cruise cruises dock here. The "Lover's Dam" is a plank road that extends into the sea at the southern end of the Olympic Sailing Center. It is flanked with a number of eateries, coffee shops, and pubs.

It's OK, but there are too many docks and ticket offices, and too many types of tickets. I don't know which one corresponds to which one, and I don't know which ship to get on with which ticket. There may be several operating companies, and the largest ship may not be operating during the day or something, anyway, I took a medium-sized ship out
The third swimming area, which is next to Wangjiazhao Folk Tourism Resort, is also known as Shanhaitian Bathing Beach. You may sunbathe, take in the sea wind, and collect shells at this lovely spot with fine sand. The bathing beach is a swimming enthusiast's dream come true because of its crystal-clear water and gentle waves. On the beach, there are numerous changing areas with various features, and visitors can use the hot water in the restrooms. For people who dislike cold baths, this is a great option.

It’s so much fun. The night view is really lively at night, comparable to the Bund in Shanghai. The subway said it was available. I navigated along the pier, passing the first and second bathing beaches, and arrived when it was dark and the lights were on. It’s really great. If you don't want to be tired and want to go faster, you can ride a bike, take a bus, take the subway, or take a taxi, but all of them are very uncomfortable and inconvenient. You won't regret going to Qingdao Beach
