In 2005, it was designated by the State Sports General Administration as the main venue for the "National Natural Water Rafting Competition". Qingyuan Gulongxia Forest Adventure Kingdom is located in Binjiang Canyon, Qingxin District, Qingyuan City, 68 kilometers away from Guangzhou City. It is located at the intersection of Guangqing Expressway, Qinglian Expressway (Xuguan Expressway) and Shanzhan Expressway. Sandwiched between cliffs and peaks with a height difference of thousands of meters, the Gulong Grand Canyon combines waterfalls, deep pools, strange rocks and jungles. With cliffs facing each other, strange peaks towering, silver waterfalls splashing, many rapids and primitive rainforests covering the sky, it is refreshing and pleasant all year round. The characteristics of the scenery can be summarized in ten words: "strange, hidden, pretty, clever, secluded, vast, stunning, dangerous, complete, and ancient". There are 30 million square meters of subtropical jungle preserved in the canyon, with a forest coverage rate of 99.1%. The concentration of negative oxygen ions is as high as 160,000/cm³, which is a big oxygen bar for refreshing the mind and cleansing the lungs. Yuan Mei, a poet in the Qing Dynasty, once described the magnificence and depth of Qingyuan Gulong Gorge with the words "Ten thousand mountains are like surging waves, springs are gurgling and streams are flowing. Floating clouds are underfoot, and the pine waves are a unique scenery."

Relying on the unique topography of the Grand Canyon, the Grand Forest and the Grand Waterfall, in the cliffs and dense forests with a vertical drop of a thousand meters, the Guling Gorge Scenic Area has developed five major project groups from top to bottom in a three-dimensional manner: Yuntian Glass Boss, Aerial Adventure, Grand Waterfall Group, International Rafting and Internet Celebrity Valley. As a national sports tourism demonstration base, an international rafting competition venue, and a designated track by the State General Administration of Sport, the scenic spot has obtained a total of 12 world record certifications and is known as the "King of Rafting, King of Glass", and "New Overlord of World High-altitude Sightseeing". From whitewater racing to forest exploration to aerial sightseeing, you can enjoy all the attractions on land, sea and air in Gulong Gorge. If the cliff coaster in Gulong Gorge challenges the vertical limit, then the canyon coaster challenges the curve limit.

The Gorge Coaster is 3,680 meters long, like a heavenly road circling above the majestic Gulong Mountains, crossing three peaks, following the terrain, winding and undulating, one turn after another, with a total drop of up to 260 meters and a speed of up to 30km per hour. The track design incorporates a variety of complex turns, including multiple right-angle turns, hairpin turns, 360-degree spiral turns, figure-8 turns and 28 other extremely challenging turns. Among them, the "9 consecutive hairpin turns" surpasses the world-famous Akina Mountain track with "5 consecutive hairpin turns". It is currently the longest and most winding mountain track sliding project in China. With nine bends and twenty-eight turns, it is well-deserved.

The Canyon Coaster, without any power, relies entirely on the natural slope of the mountain and the effect of gravity to slide down from the top of the mountain to the end, as if breaking free from the constraints of gravity and "flying close to the ground" along the mountain road, turning into a freely flying eagle. The wind whistled in my ears and the scene before me was like a flowing ink painting. The rolling hills, lush forests, and magical and spectacular canyons were all receding behind me in the passionate drift. Except for the ups and downs of the jungle crossing. There are many obstacles and "traps" set along the way. Driving does not require superb skills, but getting over the obstacles and "traps" is a heart-pounding experience! Every time you approach a curve, you grip the handlebars tightly with both hands, your heartbeat accelerates involuntarily, and your body follows the ups and downs of the car's body. The track under your feet is sometimes narrow and steep, forcing you to concentrate fully; sometimes it is wide and magnificent, making you unable to help but scream and release your inner passion.

The construction of the Canyon Coaster track strictly complies with international standards, selects high-quality materials for fine polishing and installation, and sets up multiple safety protection facilities along the way. Its safety has passed the strict safety certification of the international and domestic authoritative organization "China Special Equipment Testing and Research Institute", providing tourists with solid and reliable safety protection.

The starting point of the Channel Coaster is located at the end point of the Cliff Coaster, and is connected end to end with the thrilling Cliff Coaster, smoothly interlocking to form a wonderful "double flight" combination. After walking down the mountain at Yuntian Boba or experiencing the cliff coaster, visitors can quickly reach the starting point of the canyon coaster via the magic carpet. They can drift down the mountain without expending any physical energy, truly realizing the goal of not having to climb a step and not missing a single scene. While enjoying the speed and passion, they can also marvel at the wonders of nature.

Feel your heartbeat quicken as you take in the twists and turns, and chase the sea of clouds and sunset in the canyon jungle! The Canyon Coaster allows you to embark on an exciting journey through time again!

Super exciting, super fun, super enjoyable. It's a pity that the weather was not good. Many outdoor activities were not suitable for playing on rainy days, such as the canyon coaster that I had been longing for. But rafting is more exciting on rainy days. I will come again next time and try rafting again! So cool hahahahahaha

Millennium Yao Village

Address: Nangang Village, Sanpai Town, Liannan Yao Autonomous County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province

Opening hours: 24 hours a day, all year round

evaluate:

This is a very good Yao village. This ancient Yao village was discovered thousands of years ago. It is suitable for those who are in a bad mood and like to be quiet and watch the scenery. It is located in front of Baili Yaoshan Wanshan Chaowang. The village gate is 808 meters above sea level and covers an area of 159 acres. It was first built in the Song Dynasty and has a history of more than a thousand years. It is a famous historical and cultural village in China and one of the ten most beautiful ancient villages in Guangdong. It is also a national AAAA-level scenic spot. The ancestors of the Yaozhai people can be traced back to the "Changsha Wuling Barbarians" in the Qin and Han Dynasties. After many migrations, they gradually migrated to Guangdong Province during the Sui, Tang and Song Dynasties, and the migration reached its peak during the Ming Dynasty. The people of the Yao village established the "Yao Lao System" of democratic elections and formed a sacred and strict "customary law" to strictly manage the village. The thousand-year-old Yao village is the hometown of the world-famous music "Yao Dance". "Shuagetang", "Long Drum Dance" and "Eight-Pai Yao Wedding Customs" have been listed as national intangible cultural heritage.

Lianzhou Underground River is located 26 kilometers northeast of the historical and cultural ancient city of Lianzhou, among the mountains at the junction of Guangdong, Guangxi and Hunan provinces. It is a typical giant natural limestone cave with a subtropical karst landform. It is famous both at home and abroad for its mysterious and magnificent stalactites and cave rivers, and is known as the No. 1 underground river in Guangdong. The scenic spots of Lianzhou Underground River are divided into two parts: land and water. The land part is the cave and the water part is the underground river. The Lianzhou Underground River, which can be traveled both by land and water, is a unique attraction in Lingnan with its magnificent momentum, stunning scenery and unique combination. The famous writer Mr. Qin Mu called it "a mysterious and magnificent underground river." Caves within caves, rivers within caves, bridges within caves and waterfalls within caves are the unique features of Lianzhou Underground River.

The Lianzhou Underground River Scenic Area is hidden in a cave halfway up a mountain. The cave covers an area of 100,000 square meters, with 60,000 square meters available for sightseeing. The upper two floors have a 30-meter-high pillar and the Fairy Field Square that can accommodate 10,000 people. The third layer is a winding underground river, the water of which flows quietly into the depths of the cave. The scenery in the cave can be said to be full of wonders, with mountains and rivers, cliffs and rocks, and the natural cave entrance is spacious and majestic. When you are in it, you will feel like you are in a different world. Compared with Guilin's Seven Star Caves, it is even better. The temperature in the cave is maintained at 18℃~22℃ all year round, and the humidity is between 96%-98%. The oxygen content in the cave is as high as 21.4%-21.6%, and the carbon dioxide content is only between 0.01%-0.019%. The air is fresh, warm in winter and cool in summer, making it a holy place for summer vacation.

There are countless colorful stalactites in various shapes and sizes in the cave. The sightseeing area is divided into three layers: the upper and middle layers are land layers, with tall and wide halls, solid rock walls, and magnificent "waterfalls", "forests", "secluded valleys", "pastoral areas", and "Yao villages", with flowers blooming, birds flying, and clouds moving...; the lower layer is an underground river, which bends 1,500 meters from north to south, passing through three beautiful canyons and the bottom of four mountaintops. The river is 1.6-10 meters wide and 1-7 meters deep. The two banks are full of wonders, which are ingenious and beautiful. There are treasures in the cave, such as the "Golden Rooster Announces the Crowing" and the "Flying Elephant Crossing the River"; there is also the "Star of Longevity" underground river with two scenes in one; there are nearly a hundred natural wonders formed by stone pillars, stone curtains, stalagmites, stone lotus roots, stone flowers, etc., such as the "Flying Waterfalls and Strange Rocks" and the "Pavilion of Flowers and Birds"... The natural beauty of each place is breathtaking and makes people forget to leave.

The scenic area provides free guided tours, and it will be more interesting to see the stone scenery with the guide's explanation. After walking through the land layer, you can board a boat to cruise the river. Each boat can accommodate about 10 people. Take a boat and move forward along the underground river. The river is winding, sometimes wide and sometimes narrow. The stalactites above your head are within reach. Along the way, you will pass through three canyons: Banana Gorge, Lotus Gorge and Longmen Gorge. The stalactites on both sides of the canyon are in various shapes and forms, and with the reflection of lights, it is magnificent. When people are watching in the cave, they are often wet by the water drops falling from the dome. It is unlike those over-developed caves that have long been dried up and have no trace of life. The boat trip takes about 40 minutes and the tour of the entire cave takes about 1 and a half hours.

There were a lot of people queuing during the May Day holiday, and it was raining heavily. The experience was not good at the beginning, and there were a lot of people inside. Fortunately, it stopped raining when I went in, but I was soaked. The environment inside is actually very good.
