Jiangxin Island seems to be in the center of the water. You have to take a boat to get to the island. Big ferry, every half hour. Open from 8am to 10pm, very good. 👍20 yuan for one way, 40 yuan for round trip, seniors can ride for free, which is really awesome. I have to praise Wenzhou. Don’t buy a ticket after you land on the island. 👍

Dongtou Wanghai Tower is a famous tourist attraction located in Dongtou District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, China. It is also an important part of the national 4A-level scenic spot. Wanghai Tower was first built in 434 AD and has a history of more than 1,500 years. It was originally built by Yan Yanzhi, the governor of Yongjia, in order to enjoy the sea view of Dongtou. When the Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Youxin was the prefect of Wenzhou in 825 AD, he specially visited Wanghai Tower and left a poem. However, due to historical reasons, the Wanghai Tower was once destroyed. It was not until 2003 that the local government decided to rebuild Wanghai Tower and invited Chen Xingwen, the designer of the reconstruction of the Tengwang Pavilion in Jiangxi, to lead the design. After several years of construction, Wanghai Tower was officially opened to the public in 2007.

The daytime is not as lively as the nighttime and there are fewer tourists, so it feels more comfortable. Take a leisurely stroll along the lake and enjoy the scenery on both sides. Although there are no landscape lights at night, it has a more leisurely atmosphere.
Wuma Street is a famous commercial street in Wenzhou. It is located in the southern part of Wenzhou Old Town. It starts from Jiefang South Road in the east and connects to Chan Street in the west. There are all kinds of shops along the street. When the great calligrapher Wang Xizhi was the county magistrate of Yongjia (the ancient name of Wenzhou), he often traveled in a carriage with five horses running side by side, and this is how Wuma Street got its name. When Wuma Street was rebuilt, its original architectural style that combined Chinese and Western styles was retained, as well as a number of time-honored shops such as the Jin Sanyi Silk Shop, Lao Xiangshan Pharmacy, and Wenzhou Restaurant. The sculptures along the entire street are very distinctive and the architectural design is very Westernized.
