Jianghan Road is located in the central area of Hankou. It starts from Yanjiang Avenue in the south and ends at Jiefang Avenue in the north. It runs through Zhongshan Avenue and Jinghan Avenue. It is more than 1,200 meters long and is a famous century-old commercial street in Wuhan. This used to be the British Concession. There are more than a dozen excellent modern buildings on the street. The whole street is a 20th Century Architecture Museum. Now there are many department stores and fashion brand stores here, which is also a good choice for shopping.

Address: Jianghan Road, Jianghan District, Wuhan

Opening hours: 24 hours a day, all year round

evaluate:

Jianghan Road: Two Times on One Street Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street is like a river of time, separating the past and present of Wuhan. On the east side are old buildings from the concession period. The Baroque reliefs and Roman columns cast mottled shadows in the sun, as if solidifying the colonial memories of a hundred years ago. On the west side stands a modern shopping mall with glass curtain walls, and the LED screen constantly changes the promotional advertisements of the season. When tourists take selfies with their milk tea, they may not notice that between the hexagonal tiles under their feet are German steel rails laid in 1906. The most moving moment of this 1,600-meter street is at dusk. When the neon lights came on, the aroma of tofu skin in Laotong City blended wonderfully with the perfume in the H&M store, and girls in Hanfu and bank clerks in suits passed by each other in the crowd. Jianghan Road is like a prism, reflecting Wuhan’s bustling streets, colonial scars and commercial civilization into a flowing spectrum. Here, history is not a specimen but the still beating heart of the city.

Qingchuan Pavilion is located on Guishan Mountain in Hanyang, close to the Yangtze River, and faces the Yellow Crane Tower across the river. Qingchuan Pavilion was first built in the Ming Dynasty and was named after the Tang Dynasty poet Cui Hao. The current building was rebuilt in the 1980s based on historical photos. The scenic area consists of three main buildings: Qingchuan Pavilion, Yu Ji Palace, and Tiemenguan, as well as many cultural attractions such as pavilions, archways, corridors, etc., and is full of Chinese classical charm. It is very pleasant to go up to the attic, feel the river breeze and enjoy the river view. The classical buildings and green plants and flowers here complement each other, and the scenery is beautiful. It is a popular place for Wuhan locals to take wedding photos.

Address: No. 86, Ximachang Street, Hanyang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province

Business hours: Open from 09:00 to 21:30 tomorrow (ticket sales stop at 21:00; admission stops at 21:00)

evaluate:

From the attic of Qingchuan, you can take pictures of the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, which is quite nice. The 2 yuan ferry across the river at Qingchuan Wharf has been cancelled. Now there is only a 100 yuan ferry tour, which is not cost-effective.

The Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge is a bridge built on the Yangtze River in my country, spanning Guishan Mountain in Wuchang and Sheshan Mountain in Hanyang. Because this was a project supported by the Soviet Union, it has a strong Russian style, thick and magnificent. If you are interested, you can cross the river from the approach bridge near the Yellow Crane Tower or near the south gate of Guishan Park. The whole journey takes about 1 hour, or you can take the elevator directly from the bridgehead and then walk across the bridge. Appreciate the unique scenery of the three towns of Wuhan from the bridge deck.

Address: Wuhan City, Hubei Province

Opening hours: 24 hours a day, all year round

evaluate:

Steel Rainbow: The Modern Allegory of Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge stands majestically above the river, its steel skeleton flashing a cold light in the sun. This "First Bridge Across the Yangtze River", built in 1957, is more of a vivid and concrete expression of modernity than a transportation hub. The geometric lines made of steel and concrete cut through the natural landscape on both sides of the Yangtze River in an almost overbearing manner, incorporating the flowing river and undulating mountains into the order of industrial civilization. The endless stream of vehicles on the bridge and the trains rumbling beneath the bridge together play a never-ending symphony of modernity. This bridge is not only a physical channel connecting Wuchang and Hankou, but also a spiritual bond connecting tradition and modernity. When the setting sun casts a golden hue on the steel trusses, what we see is not only the silhouette of a bridge, but also the collective image of a nation rushing towards modernization.

The Yellow Crane Tower is a landmark building in Wuhan. It is located on the bank of the Yangtze River, on Snake Mountain in Wuchang. Many celebrities have left famous poems here. It is said that the Yellow Crane Tower was built during the Three Kingdoms period, but it has been destroyed many times. The one we see today was rebuilt in 1985. Climbing up the Yellow Crane Tower, you can see the spectacular view of the Yangtze River and the three towns of Wuhan.

Address: No. 1, Shexishanpote, Wuchang District, Wuhan

Business hours: Daytime 08:30-18:00 (ticket sales stop at 17:00; admission stops at 17:20), evening 19:30-22:00 (admission stops at 21:30)

evaluate:

This time I came to Wuhan with my parents. I came here once when I was a child, but the impression was not very deep. This time I came to Yellow Crane Tower specifically to reminisce my childhood memories and bought a beautiful refrigerator magnet. I heard that this three-layer refrigerator magnet is a new product for May Day. The elderly and children can take the elevator to the top floor. I climbed up floor by floor. The scenery on each floor is different and has its own merits.

Wuchang River Beach starts from Wuchuan and ends at Qinyuan Road. Compared with the grand and prosperous Hankou River Beach on the other side of the river, the Wuchang River Beach is full of simple local life atmosphere. Come out of Hubu Lane, walk downstream along Linjiang Avenue, pass Hanyang Gate, and you will see the sign of Wuchang River Beach near Zhongshan Road. On summer nights, many citizens come here to enjoy the river breeze and see the night view of the Hankou River Beach opposite.

Address: Linjiang Avenue, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, near Zhongshan Road

Opening hours: 06:00-23:00

evaluate:

Taking a night cruise on the Yangtze River and watching the Yangtze River at night is a good choice. You can go there early and get on the boat at six o'clock. The departure point is around seven-thirty. Generally speaking, it is still okay.

In Wuhan, eating breakfast is also called "Guo Zao", and Hubu Lane is a famous place for Guo Zao. Hubu Lane is located in Wuchang District. It is a short street that concentrates dozens of traditional Wuhan snacks. There are many time-honored brands, such as Cai Linji Hot Dry Noodles, Duohuzhai Tofu Skin, Jinchu Soup Dumplings, etc. Wuhan's classic breakfast such as soup rice noodle, soup dumplings, hot dry noodles, etc. can be eaten here.

Address: Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province

Opening hours: 24 hours a day, all year round

evaluate:

Hubu Lane is truly worthy of its reputation as Wuhan's "breakfast paradise". This century-old alley, less than 100 meters long, brings together nearly 100 kinds of Han snacks such as hot dry noodles, bean curd skin, and soup noodles. It can be called a living museum of Wuhan cuisine. At six o'clock in the morning, the steaming hot air filled with the aroma of sesame paste filled the entire street. Cai Linji's hot dry noodles are elastic and smooth, Lao Tongcheng's bean curd skin is golden and crispy, Xu Sao's soup noodles are fresh, spicy and thick. Every bite is authentic Jiangcheng flavor. However, with the impact of the internet celebrity economy, some time-honored brands have begun to improve their traditions to cater to the tastes of tourists, making shops such as Shiji Hot Dry Noodles that stick to the original flavor even more valuable. It is recommended to avoid the crowds during holidays and come before 7 a.m. to experience the most authentic city life. With a bowl of eggnog, sit in the mottled alleys and feel the morning light of Old Hankou. This is the most moving way to visit Hubu Lane.

The Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall is a small building with red walls and red tiles, commonly known as the "Red Building" by locals. The main building is a two-story brick-and-wood Western-style building. There are currently two thematic exhibits in the museum. The first is the "Restoration and Exhibition of the Former Site of the Hubei Military Governor's Office", which restores the scenes of the early days of the establishment of the Governor's Office. The main exhibition is the "Exhibition of Historical Relics of the Wuchang Uprising of the 1911 Revolution", which shows the historical scenes of the Wuchang Uprising of the 1911 Revolution.

Address: No. 1, Wuluo Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province

Business hours: Open from 09:00 to 17:00 tomorrow (admission ends at 16:00)

evaluate:

The explanation at the Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall was detailed and patient! The book has rich knowledge and clear logic, and tells the magnificent historical story vividly. Children listen very attentively, so it is very suitable to bring children to listen.

The Hubei Museum consists of three antique buildings: a comprehensive exhibition hall, a Chu Culture Hall, and a chime bell hall. Its layout reflects the high-rise building layout format of the ancient Chu State architecture, with "one platform and one hall" and "multiple platforms in a group". The Hubei Museum owns four major treasures: the Zenghouyi chime bells unearthed from the "Zenghouyi Tomb"; the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue, a masterpiece of the cold weapon era; the skull fossil of Yunxian people dating back 1 million years; and the best of Yuan blue and white porcelain - the plum vase with the Four Loves.

Address: No. 160 Donghu Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan

Business hours: Open from 09:00 to 17:00 tomorrow (admission ends at 16:00)

evaluate:

It's a great museum. Wherever I go, I like to visit local museums to learn about the historical heritage. This place is also worth visiting. There are many ancient cultural relics that are worth seeing, especially the Sword of Goujian, King of Yue. Absolutely!

Wuhan University has a long history, which can be traced back to the Self-Strengthening Academy founded by Zhang Zhidong in the late Qing Dynasty. The school is very close to East Lake and surrounded by Luojia Mountain. The campus is shaded by green trees and retains many excellent historical buildings that combine Chinese and Western styles. In recent years, Wuhan University's cherry blossoms have become famous, and the cherry blossom season has attracted tourists from all over the country, so there will be time limits and flow limits on campus visits.

Address: No. 299, Bayi Road, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province

Business hours: Open from 08:30 to 17:30 tomorrow

evaluate:

The beauty of Wuhan University, the spiritual home at the foot of Luojia Mountain, lies not only in its splendor when the cherry blossoms are flying, but also in its academic heritage accumulated over a century. This university, located between mountains and rivers, perfectly combines the beauty of nature with humanistic thinking to form a unique spiritual temperament. Under the dome of the old library, countless sparks of thought collided; in the morning light of Sakura Peak, generations of students pursued the truth here. The most touching thing about Wuhan University is that it not only protects the academic tradition of "self-reliance, perseverance, truth-seeking and innovation", but also embraces the changes of the times with an open attitude. Here, rigorous academic spirit and romantic humanistic feelings coexist and grow together, creating the unique spiritual character of Wuhan University students - it has both the calmness and heaviness of Luojia Mountain and the agility and tolerance of East Lake water. This kind of character is the most precious quality of contemporary Chinese intellectuals.

East Lake is a lake in the city of Wuhan. It has become one of the characteristic attractions of Wuhan with its beautiful landscape and rich Chu culture. Donghu Lake is mainly divided into four areas: Tingtao Scenic Area, Donghu Moshan Scenic Area, Luoyan Scenic Area and Chuidi Scenic Area. Among them, Moshan Scenic Area is suitable for flower viewing, Luoyan Scenic Area is suitable for bird watching, and Chuidi Scenic Area and Tingtao Scenic Area are good places to relax and have fun with friends.

Address: No. 16 Yanhu Avenue, Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province

Opening hours: 24 hours a day, all year round

evaluate:

It was a very good trip to Wuhan, and I didn’t want to leave. It was wonderful to ride shared bicycles with my children along the shore of East Lake! I will come to Wuhan and East Lake again if I have the chance. I hope my children can study at Wuhan University when they grow up. Wuhan is beautiful...
