Wow... no words can truly describe the Disney Cruise experience! From the moment we stepped on board until the very last day, everything was simply magical. The ship was stunning, the crew members were incredibly friendly and attentive, and every detail was perfectly organized. The entertainment was world-class, with amazing Broadway-style shows, character meet-and-greets, and activities for every age group. The food was outstanding, offering a wide variety of delicious options throughout the cruise. Our stateroom was comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Every day brought new surprises and unforgettable memories. What truly makes Disney Cruise special is the exceptional service and the magical atmosphere that makes both children and adults feel like they are living in a dream. Watching my family smile, laugh, and enjoy every moment was priceless. This was more than just a vacation; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all expectations. We are already lo

One of the best all inclusive travel experience! We’ve visited four cities in Japan: Kagoshima, Kobe, Osaka and Kochi. Our only wish was to stay longer in each city so that we could explore more.

First, let's talk about the amazing dining. We've been on five cruises across four ships, and honestly, among the free meals, MSC's is the best. The main dining room is excellent, and the buffet usually features a main dish every day, including king crab, lobster, scallops, and abalone. Other meals are similar to most ships. We were very satisfied with our recent fare. Since we haven't had any paid dining options with Royal Caribbean, we won't comment on those. Accommodation is generally similar across Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, Idaho, and MSC. There isn't a significant difference. Service is better than some of the foreign staff; most are very friendly. Because we've had many experiences, we usually leave a tip for the cabin and main dining room staff before disembarking. Recreational facilities: Surprisingly, they're not much different from Royal Caribbean's, and quite good enough to enjoy. The facilities are quite new, but it was relatively crowded during our National Day cruise. Avoid peak times for activities and meals. Shore excursions were well-organized, efficient, and well-managed. The show was great; the female singer had a fantastic voice and left a deep impression, and the song and dance performances were excellent. If you have the time, try to see it. The only noticeable drawback was that people kept walking around after the show started; they should really do something about that.

The activities on the boat were quite good; the food, drinks, and entertainment were all enjoyable. The water slide was really fun, and I went on it many times. However, the food was more Westernized and not really suited to Chinese palates; it was best to consider it a short-term experience. As for shore activities, disembarking time was a problem. On the first day, it took over three hours to disembark. The Koh Samui itinerary was a day tour booked through Ctrip for 600 RMB, which was completely overpriced. The tour leader was practically useless, and the tour fee was a waste. The second day's itinerary on Redang Island was quite nice; the island isn't large, and you had free time after disembarking. You could also go diving at your own expense for 220 MYR.

Busan Brief Guide

Busan, South Korea’s bustling port city on the southeastern coast, is a dynamic blend of sandy beaches, such as Haeundae, fresh seafood markets at Jagalchi, and cultural gems like Gamcheon Culture Village and Beomeosa Temple. Known as the "Summer Capital" for its festivals and seaside vibe, it offers mountain hikes in Geumjeongsan, vibrant nightlife in Seomyeon, and day trips to Gyeongju’s ancient sites. Plan your perfect Busan adventure with our guide.

Busan Must-try local experiences

1. Relax on Sandy Beaches Busan's beaches draw crowds with their soft sand and ocean waves. Head to Haeundae Beach for lively vibes, water sports, and people-watching. Gwangalli Beach offers stunning night views with the Gwangan Bridge lit up. Songdo Beach provides a quieter spot with a skywalk over the sea. These shores are ideal for sunbathing, swimming, or enjoying beachside cafes. 2. Wander Through Colorful Villages Explore vibrant neighborhoods turned into art hubs. At Gamcheon Culture Village, stroll narrow alleys lined with murals, sculptures, and colorful houses. Snap photos at quirky spots and visit small galleries or cafes. This area offers a fun glimpse into Busan's creative side and its charming hillside ambiance. 3. Savor Fresh Seafood at Local Markets. Dive into the delicious world of ocean eats. Jagalchi Fish Market buzzes with vendors selling live fish, crabs, and shellfish. Pick your catch and have it cooked on-site for a fresh meal. Nearby spots offer raw fish dishes or grilled options. It's a tasty way to experience local flavors and tap into the local energy. 4. Explore the Temples by the Sea Discover serene spots by the water. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple sits on rocky cliffs with ocean views, statues, and lanterns. Walk the paths, ring bells, and soak in the peaceful vibes. It's a mix of nature and spirituality, perfect for photos and quiet reflection. 5. Enjoy Panoramic City Views Climb to high spots for sweeping sights. Ride up to Busan Tower in Yongdusan Park for 360-degree panoramas of the city, harbor, and mountains. At night, the lights sparkle below. Hwangnyeongsan Viewing Lounge offers similar thrills with fewer crowds, especially at sunset. 6. Explore the Historic Markets Browse lively shopping areas with a mix of old and new. Gukje Market features stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, and street food, including hotteok pancakes. BIFF Square is nearby and features movie-themed spots and snacks, such as seed pancakes or spicy noodles. These markets are full of energy and bargain hunts. 7. Experience Scenic Cable Car Rides Soar over the sea for thrilling rides. The Songdo Marine Cable Car glides from the beach to Amnam Park, offering views of cliffs and waves. Opt for a glass-floor cabin for extra excitement. It's a quick way to see Busan's coastal beauty from above. 8. Hike the Coastal Trails Trek along rugged paths for nature escapes. Taejongdae Park features stunning cliffs, lighthouses, and beautiful sea views, all accessible via easy walking paths. For more adventures, try the Igidae Coastal Walk with rock formations and hidden coves. These hikes reward you with fresh air, photo ops, and a break from city buzz. 9. Experience Vibrant Nightlife Join the after-dark fun in lively districts. Haeundae's bars and clubs thump with music and drinks. Head to The Bay 101 for yacht views, fireworks, or drone light shows over the water. It's great for mingling, craft beers, or just watching the city glow. 10. Unwind in Traditional Spas Relax in hot springs and saunas. Hurshimchung Spa offers pools, baths, and treatments in a huge complex. Try jjimjilbang rooms with heated floors for a relaxing nap or a snack. These spots blend Korean wellness with modern comforts for a rejuvenating day. 11. Explore Mountain Temples Venture to ancient sites in the hills. Beomeosa Temple features grand halls, pagodas, and forest paths. Join a tea ceremony or hike nearby trails for tranquility. It's a cultural dive into Buddhism amid Busan's green landscapes. 12. Take a Relaxing Boat Tour Cruise the coastline for island vibes. From Oryukdo, hop on a boat to see the rock islands and sunrise spots. Some tours include fishing or stops at hidden beaches. These outings show off Busan's marine side with sea breezes and wildlife sightings. 13. Discover Cafe Streets Sip coffee in trendy areas. Jeonpo Café Street has cozy spots in old warehouses, serving artisan brews and desserts. Pair it with people-watching or light bites. It's a chill way to experience Busan's modern cafe culture away from the main crowds. 14. Seek Out Hidden Wetlands Escape to peaceful nature reserves. Dadaepo Beach and wetlands offer birdwatching, boardwalks, and sunset views. Spot migratory birds or picnic by the water. These off-the-beaten spots provide a quiet contrast to Busan's busy energy.

Busan Transportation

Busan is well-connected by air, high-speed train, and bus, making it accessible from Seoul and international hubs.  By Air: Gimhae International Airport (PUS) is located about 16 km (10 miles) west of the city center and serves as Busan's main airport, handling both domestic and some international flights. To City Center - Limousine Bus: After exiting the arrivals area, head to the bus stops located on the first floor, directly in front of both terminals. Limousine buses offer a comfortable and convenient option for travelers, especially if your accommodation is near one of the designated bus stops. You can purchase tickets from machines or from the driver (cash or T-money card accepted). For route information, consider downloading the Busan Bus app. - Light Rail and Subway: From the airport terminals, follow the signs for the Busan-Gimhae Light Rail Transit (LRT).   Sasang Station: Take the LRT to Sasang Station. This transfer hub is where you can board the Busan Subway Line 2. From there, you can reach destinations like Seomyeon or Haeundae. Daejeo Station: Alternatively, you can take the LRT to Daejeo Station to transfer to Busan Subway Line 3. Tickets at machines (cash/card/T-money); fast and air-conditioned—best for light luggage, avoid with heavy bags due to stairs. - Taxi: Taxi stands are conveniently located directly across from the airport's terminal gates. Fares are metered, and you can expect the following estimated costs:  To Haeundae: Approximately ₩33,000–₩40,000 KRW, with a travel time of about 25 minutes.  To Seomyeon: Approximately ₩21,000–₩25,000 KRW, with a travel time of about 15 minutes.  You can pay by cash or card. Taxis are a reliable option for groups or late flights. For convenience, consider using the Kakao T app to book a ride. - Ride-Shares: Kakao T or Uber from parking area (app directs); prices similar to taxis. Book after landing (data needed), cashless—convenient, track ride for safety. By Train: KTX high-speed train is South Korea's bullet train and the fastest option, covering the approximately 400-kilometer (250-mile) journey from Seoul to Busan in as little as 2 hours and 15 minutes. The SRT high-speed train is another option for high-speed travel between Seoul and Busan.  Busan Station: All KTX services arrive at Busan Station, which is centrally located and a terminus for the Gyeongbu Line. The Busan Metro Line 1 is accessible from within the station via an underground walkway. Tickets can be purchased online through the Korail website (available in English) up to one month in advance. Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during peak season or weekends, as tickets can sell out quickly. By Bus: Busan Central Bus Terminal is situated in the Geumjeong District at the northern edge of Busan's city center. It is directly connected to Nopo Station on Busan Metro Line 1 (the Orange Line). Intercity buses are available from Seoul (approximately 4.5 hours) and from Daegu (around 2 hours). Tickets can be purchased directly at the bus terminal or online.

Busan Where to Stay

Busan is a vibrant coastal city in South Korea, offering a diverse range of accommodation options across its various districts.

Busan Best Time to Visit

Busan’s subtropical climate features hot summers and mild winters; spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) are ideal for mild weather, cherry blossoms/foliage, and festivals with fewer crowds.

Busan Travel Tips

1. Dress Modestly at Beomeosa Temple: When visiting Beomeosa Temple, dress modestly. Shoulders and knees should be covered out of respect for the religious site. Avoid revealing clothing and remove hats inside temple halls. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended due to the hilly terrain. 2. Shoes Off Indoors: Always remove your shoes before entering Korean homes, traditional restaurants, and some cultural sites. Look for shoe racks or follow the lead of locals. 3. Beach Safety Guidelines: Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches have designated swimming areas and lifeguards during the summer months. Stay within these areas and follow flag warnings for water conditions. Avoid swimming after heavy rain due to potential pollutants, and be cautious of rip currents, especially at Haeundae Beach. 4. Street Food Safety Tips: Street food in Busan is generally safe. Choose busy stalls with high turnover for freshness. Check vendor hygiene and avoid raw or undercooked seafood if you have a sensitive stomach. Opt for freshly made items and be mindful of the water used for cooking and washing. 5. Respectful Photography in Temples: Photography is often prohibited inside temples. Look for signs or ask permission before taking photos. Avoid using flash and be mindful of people praying or meditating. 6. Drone Usage Regulations: Flying drones in Busan requires prior permission from local authorities. Many tourist areas, beaches, and all military zones prohibit drone usage. Drones must be flown below 150 meters and within the operator's line of sight. Check regulations before flying.

Busan Useful Guide

Korean is the primary language.  English is spoken in tourist areas, hotels, restaurants, and transport hubs due to Busan’s port and tourism growth. It's easier in central spots like Haeundae or Nampo-dong, with bilingual signs/menus; limited among older locals or in suburbs—use apps for translation, learn basics like "gamsahamnida" (thank you).

Frequently Asked Questions

You must carry a passport with an expiration date that meets the destination's requirements (usually valid for at least 6 months after the cruise ends; please refer to the actual boarding information), your cruise boarding pass (e-ticket or printed copy), and any visas required by all countries/regions on your itinerary. Depending on your nationality, other identification documents (such as a residence card or national ID card) may also be required. Please confirm the final requirements with the relevant embassies or consulates and the cruise line before departure.
Modern large cruise ships are equipped with advanced stabilizers and are routed to avoid rough seas, meaning most passengers never experience noticeable seasickness. If you are prone to motion sickness, consider booking a cabin on the mid-to-lower decks where movement is minimal. Other helpful tips include packing motion sickness medication, wearing anti-nausea wristbands, and getting fresh air on open decks. Note: Medication availability at the onboard medical center varies, so please check with your specific cruise line.
The vast majority of cruises automatically charge a fixed service fee to your daily cruise card account. For specific rates and collection methods, please refer to the information published by the cruise line after boarding. This fee typically covers basic gratuities for room service, dining staff, and more. Unless you wish to tip extra for exceptional service, additional cash tips are not required. We recommend consulting the cruise line's official guidelines when booking or after boarding.
Most international cruise lines use the US Dollar as their onboard currency. Upon boarding, you will link a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc.) to your cruise card. The ship operates on a "cashless" system, meaning all onboard purchases (dining, drinks, shopping, service fees) are charged directly to your account and settled at the end of the trip. While you don't need large amounts of cash on board, we recommend bringing some small bills (USD or local currency) for minor expenses and tips at ports of call.
Usually, within an hour after leaving port, your phone will connect to a maritime roaming network, which carries extremely high call and data roaming charges (often exceeding US$ 5/minute). We strongly advise putting your phone in Airplane Mode and relying solely on the ship's Wi-Fi. Most ships offer paid Wi-Fi packages. Purchasing a voyage-long package is generally much more cost-effective than paying by the day. Some luxury cruise lines include basic Wi-Fi in your fare.
Every international cruise ship is equipped with a medical center staffed by at least one internationally certified doctor and nurse. They are fully capable of treating common illnesses (colds, gastroenteritis) and minor injuries. Please note: Onboard medical care is quite expensive, and the pharmacy has limited stock. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance with cruise medical coverage and packing an ample supply of any prescription or over-the-counter medications you regularly use.
After boarding, you must attend a mandatory safety drill (usually required to be completed within 24 hours). During the drill, you will hear the ship's dedicated alarm signal. Please immediately put on your life jacket (located in your cabin closet) and follow the evacuation route map on the back of your door to your designated assembly station. Please keep in mind: Do not use the elevators, follow the crew's instructions, and stay calm. Even if you have been on multiple cruises, you must participate in the drill on every new voyage. Please refer to the ship's on-site broadcasts and guidance for the specific signal and assembly location.
On the night before disembarkation, please follow the instructions issued by the cruise line to attach baggage tags to your checked luggage (excluding clothing, documents and valuables you will need the next morning) and place it in the designated area outside your stateroom door. Keep your passport, room key card and a small amount of carry-on belongings with you. On the day of disembarkation, please vacate your stateroom before the specified time and disembark in batches as notified. Do not linger in the stateroom. Finally, check all drawers, wardrobes and the safe. For the specific schedule and baggage requirements, please refer to the "Disembarkation Guide" provided by the cruise line.

Onboard the Disney Cruise Line: A Magical Voyage at Sea

Onboard the Disney Cruise Line: A Magical Voyage at Sea

#cruiseholiday Sailing with Disney Cruise Line was a dream come true! From the moment we stepped onboard, the ship was bursting with magic—character meet-and-greets, themed dinners, and Broadway-style shows that wowed us every night. The staterooms were comfortable and thoughtfully designed, and the service was truly exceptional. I loved the adults-only areas for some quiet time, while the kids were completely entertained at the clubs. Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, was paradise with crystal-clear water and fun activities for all ages. Whether you're a Disney fan or just love relaxing, this cruise is pure joy from start to finish. Can’t wait to go again!

Dear friends, I just discovered an exclusive itinerary and I have to be the first to tell you!

Dear friends, I just discovered an exclusive itinerary and I have to be the first to tell you!

The Ritz-Carlton’s ultra-luxury yacht "Luminara" will sail directly from Hong Kong to Tokyo in March 2026, for 13 days and 12 nights. This is not an ordinary cruise ship; it’s a moving palace carrying only a few hundred guests. Imagine this: we board at sunrise in Victoria Harbour, staying in suites with panoramic terraces, with a private butler who has already prepared champagne. Every day, you wake up by the infinity pool to see the sea, and the butler even remembers how you like your coffee. It will take us to hidden islands that ordinary travelers can’t reach, hosting champagne parties on beaches open only to guests. The ship’s Michelin-starred chef’s restaurant changes its menu daily depending on the port. The best part is the spa facing the sea—this is the true meaning of "where the sea meets the sky." I’m so excited. It’s like a flowing feast—quiet, private, and every moment carefully attended to. In the spring of 2026, let’s completely indulge our time between the sea and the sky.

The reflections of the pink blossoms in the still water are beautiful. It’s where the locals go to have a quiet picnic. It’s only a 5-minute walk from the main stream but feels like a different world. It’s my favorite 'hidden' spot in the city."

Super Galaxy Cruise.

Super Galaxy Cruise.

I came to Bangkok for a date with my partner this time and booked a free experience tour. 🌌Super Galaxy Cruise🛳️ The entire experience was both romantic and packed with activities—it was such a steal! We spent the evening strolling around ICONSIAM and enjoying the river breeze before boarding at around 8:00 PM. We were blown away as soon as we stepped on board. The Super Galaxy Cruise is incredibly spacious, and the galaxy-themed lighting design is stylish with a futuristic vibe—perfect for photos! We enjoyed the 360-degree night view of the Chao Phraya River while feeling the cool breeze. Along the way, we passed the glowing Wat Arun, the Grand Palace, and the Rama VIII Bridge. Those landmarks, illuminated against the night sky, were breathtakingly beautiful. Watching them with my partner was so romantic. The buffet dinner depends on personal taste, but the seafood was fresh. The grilled giant prawns and salmon sashimi were delicious, and there were unlimited drinks. A live band played great music, and there were wonderful traditional Thai dances and cabaret shows in between. The atmosphere throughout the two-and-a-half-hour cruise was fantastic—there was never a dull moment! With stunning views, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere, it was truly an unforgettable romantic night for two.

"Carnival Splendor: The Ship That’s Like a Disco Fever Dream (With Unlimited Chocolate Melting Cake)

"Carnival Splendor: The Ship That’s Like a Disco Fever Dream (With Unlimited Chocolate Melting Cake)

#cruiseholiday Hold onto your glitter, because Carnival Splendor isn’t just a cruise—it’s a floating ‘70s revival where the pink zebra-striped decor is wild, the dessert menu never ends, and the party lasts all night. I just got back, and my inner diva is still recovering. Here’s the scoop: First Impressions: Stepping into the Atrium felt like walking into a disco ball explosion—pink glass elevators, neon lights, and the smell of Pinnacle Steakhouse’s sizzling filets 🥩 mixing with Swirls’ soft-serve vanilla. The vibe? “Saturday Night Fever meets all-you-can-eat.” The “This Ship is SO Extra” Moment: The Cloud 9 Spa’s thalassotherapy pool—a giant saltwater hot tub where I melted like the chocolate cake I’d later inhale. But the real hidden gem? El Mojito Bar’s spicy watermelon mojito (ask for extra chili salt!). 🌶️🍹 Foodie Glory: Chocolate Melting Cake ruined me for all other desserts (I ate it six nights straight). But the *24-hour* Pizza Pirate’s prosciutto pie? A drunken masterpiece. 🍕 My “Disco Never Dies” Itinerary: ⏰ 9 AM: Seaday Brunch with maple bacon pancakes (because balance). ⏰ 12 PM: Twister Waterslide (screamed like I was on American Idol). ⏰ 4 PM: Serenity Deck nap (with a Miami Vice in hand). ⏰ 8 PM: Pink Zebra Lounge karaoke (Dancing Queen = mandatory). ⏰ 12 AM: Robusto Bar’s cigar lounge (felt dangerously fancy). Pro Tip: Book the steakhouse on embarkation day—it’s half-price! Also, Lido Deck’s midnight nachos are a sinful must. 🌮 Final Verdict: 20/10, left sugar-drunk, slightly hoarse, and already planning my next glitter-filled escape. Who’s ready to splurge on Splendor? 💃
