Discover the world of printmaking at the John Howard Print Studios in Penryn. Join us for a series of workshops that delve into the art of printmaking, offering a unique exploration of various techniques. Whether you're a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, this workshop is perfect for you.
Our focus for this session is on photopolymer etching using the KM73 Toyobe plate. Learn how to develop your own image, whether it's a photograph or a drawing, onto a printable plate. No previous experience is necessary, as our experienced tutor, John Howard, BA Hons, RE, FRBSA, will guide you through the process. All materials, including paper, will be provided, so just bring along your printed acetates (positives) - approximately 3 or 4 A5ish images.
This stand-alone workshop is also a great opportunity for those who have attended previous workshops to further develop their skills. Don't miss out on this chance to expand your knowledge and build upon what you've learned so far.
Students can enjoy discounts, so contact John at 07870 679061 for more information. Mark your calendars for May 4, 2024, and join us at John Howard Print Studios, located at Workshop 5 Jubilee Wharf, Penryn, TR10 8FG. Get ready to embark on a creative journey and unleash your printmaking potential.
