In 2023, an estimated 1200 people tragically took their own lives in Hong Kong, shedding light on the pressing issue of suicide. The Verbatim Theatre performance, titled '1200', delves into the complexities surrounding suicide, exploring the reasons behind such decisions and the profound impact on individuals and their communities. Hosted by Li Po Chun United World College (LPCUWC), an esteemed international boarding school in Hong Kong, this event is part of the institution's commitment to nurturing future global leaders dedicated to peace and sustainability.

During the annual 'Project Week', 256 students from diverse backgrounds collaborate to create a powerful theatrical production based on real-life accounts of those affected by suicide. By amplifying the voices of the unheard, LPCUWC's Verbatim Theatre initiative aims to spark personal and societal transformation. Grateful for the support of Samaritans Hong Kong and The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Prevention, this event serves as a platform for reflection, dialogue, and advocacy on this critical issue.

There is no place more healing and happier than going to Disney. I went there three times in two years, each time for two days. It&#39;s great. There are many treasures from the Forbidden City in Beijing on display. The exhibition hall is by the sea, and the scenery is great. It&#39;s a good place to take children out. There are five floors in total. When we went there, only Hall 9 was being set up and not open. It took about 3-4 hours to visit. The air conditioning in the exhibition hall is cold, so you need to bring an extra coat.
