Join artist and designer Patrycja Whipp in this therapeutic alcohol ink workshop. Interested in starting your journey into the mesmerising and magical world of alcohol inks? Join Patrycja Whipp for this introduction to alcohol inks class in Port Noarlunga and learn how to make two incredible artworks! This fluid art technique is by all accounts amazing! The inks have a mind of their own and most of the fun is watching what happens as various colours slide over each other, pulling and repelling as they make patterns. Not only can you create interesting drip patterns, marbling and dappling, you’ll also learn new ways to use and adapt what you create. You will work with a range of vibrant and translucent colours as well as metallic inks on a surface of the synthetic paper, called Yupo. With minimum instruction and access to some high-quality inks and tools, you will be able to make two beautiful artworks that can be cherished for years to come. You will walk out of this class knowing the basics of the colour combinations, flow techniques and ways to create depth and balance within the composition. You’ll learn how to express your unique identity and create originals with a WOW factor that you will be proud to frame.
