Vinicio Sanna , maestro artigiano e appassionato custode di questa forma d'arte. Nato a Milano nel 1964, ma profondamente legato alla terra sarda, Vinicio ha trascorso la sua infanzia a Maracalagonis, un piccolo comune vicino Cagliari, dove ha respirato sin da bambino la melodia ipnotizzante delle launeddas, simbolo della tradizione musicale isolana. Grazie all'incontro con il Maestro Orlando Mascia, Vinicio ha imparato l'arte di costruire questi strumenti, trasformando la sua curiosità in una vera e propria missione: tramandare una tradizione unica, donandole nuova vita attraverso le mani e il cuore di chi impara. La scelta di raccontare un’artista come Maria Lai, attraverso le sue opere può essere un’occasione, non solo per avvicinarsi al suo fantastico mondo, ma è anche di raccontarla con un metodo innovativo: attraverso l’utilizzo del Teatro Kamishibai. Il Kamishibai è un originale ed efficace strumento per l'animazione alla lettura: è un teatro d’immagini di origine giapponese utilizzato dai cantastorie. Una valigetta in legno nella quale vengono inserite delle tavole stampate sia davanti che dietro: da una parte il disegno e dall’altra il testo. Lo spettatore vede l’immagine mentre il narratore legge la storia. Ci siamo affidati proprio a questa ultima affermazione: perché non raccontare Maria Lai con il suo stesso metodo? Per i bambini e i loro accompagnatori l’esperienza sarà quella di leggere le immagini. Utile per l’obiettivo del progetto sarebbe mostrare loro gli strumenti e i materiali utilizzati da Maria Lai, creando una visione a 360° della sua figura di artista: durante il racconto ai bambini verranno mostrati gomitoli di lana, spago, tessuti. Per concludere la lettura animata i bambini, utilizzando lo spago e i fili di lana, comporranno un disegno o anche semplicemente una parola, ma con lo stesso metodo dell’artista. L’opera, successivamente, sarà presentata da loro stessi al Teatro Kamishibai.
