Event Overview We'll begin the afternoon with lunch at Côte Brasserie, followed by a short stroll to the magnificent Exeter Cathedral. There, you'll be treated to a special behind-the-scenes Rooftop Tour, offering a rare opportunity to explore the Cathedral from above. You'll journey through hidden spaces including the South Tower, the Lead Room, the Ringing Chamber, and the North Tower. If the weather is kind, we’ll also step out onto the North Tower rooftop to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views across Exeter and the surrounding countryside. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes. You can book tickets that include both lunch and the Rooftop Tour, or the tour on its own. A couple of places are also available for lunch only. Our table is booked for 12:45pm, and the tour begins at 3:00pm. We have to arrive at the Cathedral at least 10 minutes before. WARNING If you have a heart complaint or breathing difficulties, or have a phobia or dislike associated with confined spaces, darkness, height or flying birds, this may not be for you. Wear suitable clothes and flat-heeled shoes. There are hundreds of old, narrow and winding steps and it is dusty in places. Please Note The ticket price includes cost of Roof Top tour but does not include the cost of food or drinks.
