Known for her naturalistic approach, Janice beautifully captures the world around us through landscape and portraiture. Her pieces are characterized by radiant luminosity, deep richness of color or tone, and intense observation. Using oil and graphite as her main mediums, Janice meticulously portrays every detail, creating artwork that is truly exceptional. Her talent has been recognized in both local and international galleries, including the prestigious RDS and RHA in Dublin, as well as the Mall Galleries in London. Janice's work is even featured as part of the esteemed Ulster Television Collection. As a member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists, she has won numerous awards, including the Mary Dugdale Cup for Portraiture, the Max MacCabe Trophy (Visitors Choice Award), the Winsor and Newton Award, the Founders Award, and more. Janice's achievements also extend to the Arts Society of Ulster, where she achieved her letters, ASU. Her talent has been showcased in the Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibitions and the Royal Hibernian Academy, where she won the De Veres Art Award for a Work of Distinction. Additionally, Janice had the honor of being awarded a residency at the renowned Artists' Retreat, Cill Rialaig.
