Artists from around the world showcased a diverse array of street performance art in Linz. Pflasterspektakel 2026 took place from July 23rd to 25th. A variety of entertainment options awaited young and old alike in different locations throughout Linz's city center. The Old Town, Pfarrplatz, the Main Square, the waterfront promenade, Herrenstrasse, and Landstrasse became the artists' stages. Comedy, acrobatics, fire-breathing performances, music, mime, and high-flying acrobatics—the performances were entertaining and diverse. This pedestrian spectacle was free to enter, and the artists received enthusiastic applause after their performances. And of course, there was the "hat money"—donations from the audience after the show.
