Welcome to the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival, a grand celebration of the garlic harvest, taking place September 26-27, 2026, in Sorgettos, New York. Held at the Cantin Memorial, the festival offers a warm and family-friendly atmosphere where visitors of all ages can enjoy the rich flavors and traditions of the Hudson Valley. From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Sunday, the festival features a variety of activities including a garlic market selling a wide selection of delicious garlic, a food court offering garlic delicacies such as sausages, pulled pork, garlic soup, garlic beans, and even garlic ice cream, live music performances, cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, art and craft stalls, activities for younger children, and a children's tent with a climbing wall for older kids.

The Zombie 5k, benefitting the HVNCVR-Community Halloween event, is a thrilling and charitable way to start off the Monster Bash Event at HITS in Saugerties. Taking place on October 28, 2023, at the HITS Saugerties Horse Show Series venue, this exciting event promises a unique experience for participants. The event features a Zombie Run 5K, which requires a $30 registration fee and includes a shirt and patch. All proceeds from the registration fees go directly towards the support and enrichment of our local veterans. Please note that any late registrations made after October 15, 2023, will not receive a shirt or patch, so be sure to register early to secure your commemorative items. Additionally, there is a Goblins and Ghouls fun run designed specifically for children aged 11 and under. This run offers a kid-friendly plastic medal and encourages participants to don their most creative costumes.
