To support young manzai performers and to protect and develop Osaka's comedy culture, the Kamigata Manzai Association held its first "Manzai Theater Summer Festival" last year to commemorate its 10th anniversary and bring joy to the local community. The festival was a huge success, attracting numerous visitors. This year, to thank everyone for their continued support and to further revitalize the community, the association will hold the "2026 Manzai Theater Summer Festival" on September 13, 2026 (Sunday) at the Festival Plaza in Osaka Expo Memorial Park. The initial lineup includes: Nakata Hanasu (President of the Kamigata Manzai Association), Kawai Yuiryu of the Einstein Band (Vice President of the Kamigata Manzai Association), as well as Black Belt, Gokai Captain, Donut Peanut, Don Decourt, Evers, Genius Pianist, Foosuya, and Jock Rock. In addition, Einstein, Mitori, Long Coat Daddy, Mayurika, Miki, Batteries, and Takuro have also confirmed their participation. This year's event features a variety of activities, including comedy performances from the control tower, food stalls, and festive games. Many comedians from the Kaleidoscope Theatre Company will also be performing. Come join this fun-filled summer extravaganza and beat the summer heat!

Expo Memorial Park, illuminated in a dreamlike display of lights, offers a summer festival experience for all generations, featuring beer gardens, stalls, Obon festivals, Bon dance performances, and Japanese-style DJ sets! Centered around the Tower of the Sun, the Expo Night Market presents a dreamlike world of colorful lights, with beer gardens, nostalgic food stalls, izakaya menus for beer lovers, and a hearty food area with desserts. From the temple fair corner and street performances to the children's playground, there are days of Bon dance performances, Awa dance performances, karaoke competitions, Japanese-style DJ sets, and Hawaiian rock music, ensuring a summer night experience for all generations.

One of Osaka's biggest autumn events, the 2026 Expo Night Sky Art Festival, returns to the 1970 Expo Memorial Park on November 21, 2026. Since its inception in 2022, the festival has attracted over 100,000 visitors with its spectacular combination of fireworks, music, and art performances. The 2026 event, also celebrating its fifth anniversary, is themed "Beyond the Past, Towards a New Level of Entertainment," expanding the program and enhancing the viewing experience to transform Osaka's autumn skies into a dazzling work of art. This year, the viewing location has moved to the East Plaza of the 1970 Expo Memorial Park. Approximately 15,000 fireworks will burst in front of the audience, creating a panoramic view covering the entire horizon. These fireworks, meticulously crafted by top pyrotechnicians in the Kansai region, are perfectly synchronized with carefully selected music, elevating the audiovisual feast to a whole new level! In addition to the traditional fireworks display, last year's popular drone light show is back! Utilizing the latest technology, a dazzling 3D drone light show illuminates the night sky, complementing the fireworks and creating a dreamlike spectacle for one night only. The daytime festival is equally spectacular. Starting at 11:00 AM, the nearby festival square will host the Kitayuki Cultural Festival, concurrently with the wildly popular Ramen Expo. You can enjoy live cultural performances while indulging in Japan's most popular ramen – a full day of non-stop excitement!

Focusing on the uniforms stored in the EXPO '70 Pavilion, related materials and exhibits will be open to the public for a limited time. You can see models, exhibits, materials, videos, etc. that are not usually open to the public.

The Hakka people and the Japanese are descendants of overseas Chinese, and their history of interaction spans a century and a half. This exhibition depicts the history of relations between Japan, Mainland China, and Taiwan through the activities of the Hakka people.

Tsutsugaki is a dyeing technique that draws a pattern by squeezing glue from a tube onto the cloth. The area where the glue is placed is resist-dyed, and the pattern is dyed through. In this exhibition, you will see about 60 works dyed using the tube dyeing technique that is popular in Japan. Please enjoy the charm of Tsutsugaki, which comes from bold composition and dynamic lines.

This exhibition explores the performances of the bards who traveled, wrote poetry, and transformed the world, and the material culture that made it possible.

A huge festival organized by students!! There were a lot of food trucks at the venue, and in addition to the Miska contestants on stage, there were many other activities. This is an event for all ages.

A festival of food, art, and culture for adults and children to enjoyAn event perfect for fall will be held at Expo 70 Commemorative Park, where your favorite Tower of the Sun is located! About 40 popular local restaurants will be gathered here. The children's work experience is supported by College staff, so it's an event the whole family can enjoy, with children having fun learning and adults relaxing!

We will hold a "I Recommend Fans" food festival with themes such as anime and famous restaurants in the county. There will be live performances of anime songs, voice actor talk show stages, figurine exhibitions, workshops, etc.!
