Join the 3rd Annual Pickleball for a Purpose event in San Antonio, where you can support the nonprofit organization San Antonio Sports in their mission to promote healthy bodies and minds through the power of sport. San Antonio Sports is dedicated to inspiring children and families to live active and healthy lives by providing sports and fitness programs. The event will take place at Chicken N Pickle in San Antonio, located at 5215 UTSA Boulevard. The tournament will begin at 2pm and continue until 5:00pm. Before the tournament, there will be a check-in period from 1pm to 2pm. Participants of all skill levels are welcome to join in the fun and compete for a chance to win cash prizes. The first-place team will receive $100, while the second-place team will receive $50. In addition to the tournament, there will be appetizers, drinks, and yard games available during downtime. It's a great opportunity to socialize and have a fun-filled day while supporting a great cause. To participate in the tournament, there are different ticket options available. The "Bread & Butter Pickles" ticket includes tournament play for a team of two, along with a drink ticket. The "Spicy Pickle" ticket is for individuals who will be paired with a partner for tournament play, also including a drink ticket. The "Sweet Pickles" ticket is for individuals who want to attend the event but won't be participating in the tournament, and it includes a drink ticket. For those who are unable to attend the event but still want to contribute, there is a donation option available. Any amount, from $100 to $3,000, can be donated to support the cause.
