Participants will be emailed the 5 PDF workbooks in advance and receive a hard copy certificate at the conclusion of the training. Earn 16 hours of CEU's for ICC and NACA. This is the prerequisite for the ICC CLA and the CEOSF Advanced Operational Awareness (AOA). This 1-day training (8am-5pm) will consist of: This in-depth training is the advanced level certification course of the Code Official Safety Specialist (COSS) program. The only way to receive your certification is by first completing your COSS training and then the Advanced Operational Awareness course. Course Objective To operationalize and apply an advanced understanding of Situational Awareness (SA) to improve your ability to avoid, de-escalate, or defend against a violent encounter.
