The Texas Tech College Rodeo, named the SW Region Rodeo of The Year for 2021, 2022, and 2023, is a highly anticipated event. Taking place at Cook's Garage in Lubbock, Texas, this is the 74th Annual Intercollegiate Rodeo. From October 26th to October 28th, attendees can experience thrilling rodeo action. The schedule includes performances on Thursday at 7:30pm, with slack events on Friday and Saturday starting at 8:30am. The evening performance on Friday and Saturday begins at 6:30pm. On October 28th, an exceptional Kids Rodeo will take place at 3pm. Notably, the Texas Tech College Rodeo was the first of its kind to be broadcast on the Cowboy Channel, and they are set to return this year. All proceeds go towards supporting the Texas Tech Rodeo team. Attendees can purchase tickets for $25, which also includes access to the after-party each night. Children aged 12 and under can enter for free. The rodeo features 15 college teams competing in 10 different rodeo events. The after-party, held at the Bus Barn, will feature performances by Texas Tech's own Mason Norris on Thursday and DJ Lobo hosting on Friday and Saturday. Please note that a clear bag policy is in place, and once the after-party begins, re-entry is not permitted.

The Cook's Rodeo Days PRCA is an exciting event that will be taking place in Lubbock from November 3rd to November 5th, 2023. Held at the renowned Cook's Garage venue, located at 11002 Highway 87, this rodeo promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees. In addition to the main PRCA event, there will also be a Cook's Junior Rodeo on October 29th, 2023, starting at 9 am. This special event is specifically designed for junior rodeo enthusiasts and is sure to be a hit with the younger crowd. The Cook's Rodeo Days PRCA will feature various rodeo competitions including barrel racing, steer wrestling, tiedown roping, and breakaway roping. There will also be exciting activities such as mutton busting tryouts and steer roping slack. And let's not forget the highly anticipated Bull Bash on November 5th at 1 pm. For those who love music, there will be fantastic live performances by renowned artists. Jo Dee Messina will be taking the stage on November 3rd, while Bo Bundy and The 8 Balls will entertain the audience on November 4th. These concerts will follow the rodeo performances each night, creating a memorable night of entertainment.
