Join us for a one-night, therapist-led book club evening at Brewpoint Craft in Elmhurst! We will be exploring themes of healing, authenticity, and connection from Prentis Hemphill's book What It Takes to Heal . Prentis writes: "This book is for the changemakers. It is a guide to show how we can become people who can live with more feeling, more balance, and more power, to point us in the direction of solutions, and to give us what we need to show up." We look forward to you joining us to be in community with people who want to explore healing in our personal and collective journeys during these times. Led by the Co-Founders of Green Door Therapy (a mental health counseling practice in Elmhurst), the evening will include discussion and activities that promote healing: -An embodiment exercise -A grounding activity -Brief journaling -Group reflection Participants are couraged to read Hemphill's book before the evening, but if you have not read it you are welcome to join and will be able to participate!
