By using exciting real-life projects like NASA's James Webb Space Telescope and the New Horizons mission to Pluto, From Dream to Discovery highlights the extreme nature of spacecraft engineering and the life cycle of a space mission — from design and construction to the rigors of testing, launch, and operations. Watch the trailer for this program below. The fulldome show is followed by a live exploration of ground-breaking images from the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes. Learn how pictures from these high-tech observatories are both gorgeous and scientifically illuminating. Program length is one hour. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before show time, because late arrivals may not be seated for safety reasons in our darkened planetarium.
