Artist statement
"As a creator, I've always been attracted to artists who take their influences and synthesize them into an organic whole. I believe that in our world, where so many of us are fragmented by so much media asking for our attention, an artist that can develop an organic wholeness that includes their various influences is providing a model for how to respond to the stresses of our unstable and constantly changing world."
