Van Gogh and PancakesTo celebrate the Hub beginning to take shape as a pop up venue and occasional micro theatre, we're inviting you to come over and get things started by creating a bit of modest theatre yourselves. By candlelight, we're going to take turns to read extracts of Vincent van Gogh's evocative letters to his family about his brief few happy months, aged 23, working as a teacher in Ramsgate. It will be a very small gathering, and very low key. And a chance to meet new people, talk about what we would like to see in rousing Ramsgate, eat free little Dutch pancakes (poffertjes) and have free beer, wine and soft drinks. We're the little cream, detached, single-storey building with the port holes on the corner of Elms Avenue and Queen Street (no. 77). Hope to see you there. Tickets are free but it is essential you get one as space is very limited. We are right next to Elms Avenue Carpark.
