Get ready to sharpen your softball skills and have a blast this summer at the ultimate camp for all levels! Hosted by Mary Connolly with current local high school/future college athletes assisting. Come join us at McCollum Park for an epic summer camp experience! We will be exploring new drills and developing our skill sets in all areas of the game. Each day we will work agility and baserunning, throwing and catching mechanics, defensive/hitting breakdown, and rounding out each day with 30 minutes of pitching/catching. We encourage all ages and levels of experience to sign up - we will have designated coaches for each level to ensure each athlete is accomodated for and challenged accordingly. Last but not least - we will be offering some exciting giveaways to our award winning campers, award categories will be introduced and explained at the beginning of our camp. Our chosen winners will be given the opportunity to win a brand new Wilson glove or Demarini/Louisville Slugger bat! Don't miss out on the excitement - SIGN UP NOW! Camp Suggestions - Please have your camper come prepared with plenty of fluids - in years past we have suggested a cooler or snack pack as well, we will give the girls plenty of breaks as it gets hot out there in the morning sessions! Camp1 is a one-week day camp for kids with Type 1 diabetes -- and their siblings -- ages 5-14. Register to join this amazing community! About Session 1 Session 1 runs June 8-12, 2026, at the following locations: Mon - Thurs: College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL (9 am - 2 pm) Fri: Maryknoll Park in Glen Ellyn, IL (9 am - 1 pm) Campers will enjoy sports, games, creative projects, and learning activities, for a week of full of fun! Every day, parents and caregivers are invited to our Caregiver Corner sessions to build community and learn more about Type1 diabetes. Trained medical staff will be on-site at all times to help campers manage their blood glucose levels. Camperships (Scholarships) Camperships (scholarships) are available for families who may need financial assistance for any reason with the cost of Camp1. When registering, please select one of the "Campership" options to begin the application process. You will be required to complete and submit a Campership Financial Aid Application by April 20, 2026 , to be considered for a full or partial campership. Connect with other American Mahjong players and sharpen your skills at the table. Session is for players who have taken at least one lesson. Join us for a relaxed and casual afternoon of Mahjong. Bring friends or come solo and meet fellow Mahjong enthusiasts for an afternoon focused on connection, gameplay, and confidence at the table. This session is designed for players who have already taken a lesson and are looking for extra support making real-time game decisions in a relaxed, social setting. You’ll mostly play on your own, but help is always nearby. Colleen from Mariposa Mahjong will provide everything you need to play and will be circulating throughout the evening to answer questions and offer guidance whenever you need it. Think of it as open play with a safety net — low pressure, supportive, and fun. Come for the tiles, stay for the camaraderie, and leave feeling more confident in your game. Bring your NMJL card, otherwise we will have cards to borrow. To support our host café, a one drink minimum per guest is kindly requested.
