Join the 5k Beer Run x Alluvial Brewing event, part of the 2024 Iowa Brewery Running Series, for a fantastic day of running, beer, and positive energy. This exciting event takes place at Alluvial Brewing Company in Ames, Iowa on April 27, 2024. Whether you're an experienced runner or simply looking for a fun way to keep active, this event is perfect for everyone. The 5k course will guide you through picturesque routes, allowing you to appreciate the beautiful surroundings while getting your heart pumping. After crossing the finish line, reward yourself with a well-deserved pint of craft beer from Alluvial Brewing. There's nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment and the refreshing taste of a local brew. In addition to the exhilarating run and delicious beer, all participants receive a craft brew at the finish line, the choice of a collector's pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, and the opportunity to win fantastic prizes such as Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home. The event also features live music, games, and goodies with our partners and sponsors. At the heart of our mission is the desire to be active, have fun, and give back. A portion of all proceeds from our events supports local nonprofits, with over $500k raised to date. By participating in this event, you'll not only enjoy a healthy activity and great local beer but also contribute to the important work of local organizations in our community, as 10% of the proceeds will be donated. Registration is limited, so sign up today to secure your spot. Please note that this is an untimed, fun-run, welcoming participants of all levels. The course is open, and roads will not be closed, so it's essential to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Remember to bring a valid ID or driver's license as you must be 21 years or older to enjoy the beer. Underage participants will receive a token for a free non-alcoholic beverage. Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course, but please exercise caution. As this is a fun-run, we encourage you to dress appropriately for the weather, and there will not be a bag check available.
