Tour de Earth Day '25 | Hampton Park
Cultural Experiences
Welcome to our
5
th annual Tour de Earth Day, a slow-roll bike ecotour around the Charleston peninsula
. Expect to hear from speakers along the way about urban farming, native plants, environmental racism, art for the planet, and more! We'll gather for the Tour in the field between Mary Murray Blvd. and Rutledge Ave., across the street from Sightsee Coffee. We will begin the ride promptly at 2pm, so please arrive early, closer to 1:30! We encourage you to attend Sightsee and Wake Refill's Native Plant Party beforehand.
Please register to reserve a spot.
This is a BYOB event (Bring your Own Bicycle), but if you are in need of a loaner let us know ahead of time and we can provide one.
A special thanks to Island Riders Bike Rental for providing extra bicycles! You are also more than welcome to ride e-bikes, scooters, and skateboards. This is a family-friendly event so all are welcome and kids ride for free!
We want to give folks an opportunity to learn more about the green work happening in their City, celebrate the Earth together, enjoy our rich environmental community, and turn a critical eye to where environmental justice issues remain. We hope you'll join us!
