Experience the joy of working with glass at the Flame Working (ages 8+) Mini Pumpkin workshop. This is the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity and create a one-of-a-kind glass treasure. With a range of projects that may be seasonally themed, you can pick your own colors and manipulate the glass to bring your vision to life. The class duration varies from 30 to 90 minutes, with prices ranging from $50 to $95. Please check the calendar on our website for more classes and dates, and remember that appointments are required.
Taking place on Friday, November 3rd, 2023, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, the Flame Working: Mini Pumpkin workshop offers 45-minute sessions for participants aged 8 and above. The cost is $50 per item, and we kindly request all attendees to have a completed FAQ and Release Form on file. You can find the Risk and Release form on our FAQ page, and we will have blank forms available during class check-in.
At SiNaCa Studios - School of Glass and Gallery, we prioritize the safety of our staff and participants. To learn more about the measures we are taking, please refer to the FAQ section of our website. During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to work with glass in its molten state (2100F) in our hot shop or with colored and clear glass rods or tubes in our flame working studio. We use two types of glass, soda-lime-based glass, primarily for bead making, and borosilicate (pyrex), which allows for more complex sculptural and blown work.
In addition to flame working, we also offer workshops in glass blowing and kiln forming. Whether you choose to shape glass using tools and air or fuse layers of glass together in an electric kiln, our experienced instructors will guide you through the process. Please note that kiln forming uses Bullseye Glass exclusively.
Join us at SiNaCa Studios - School of Glass and Gallery for a memorable Spark Workshop on Friday, November 3rd, 2023. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the fascinating world of glass artistry.
