The 2024 ABC Challenge, sponsored by the Coldwater Noon Club and the Rotary Clubs of Union City, Jonesville, and the Sunrise Club of Coldwater, is an exciting obstacle course/mud run event for both kids and adults. This year, the event will be organized and run by the Interact Club of Coldwater High School. With over 30 obstacles spread across a course that spans over a mile and a half, participants can expect a thrilling and challenging experience. One of the key highlights of the ABC Challenge is that all proceeds generated from the event will be donated back to participating schools in the area for special projects, as well as to other community groups that provide services to the youth. This event not only offers a chance for individuals and teams to test their physical limits but also contributes to the betterment of our communities and region. In addition to the ABC Challenge, this year's event will feature a joint Kick of Summer Event with the Coldwater Noon Exchange Club's Duck Race on June 1st. Participants can also take part in the United Way's Living Color Run for an additional cost of $10 as part of the 2 for 24 campaign. Pricing for the event is tiered based on sign-up dates, starting at $30 for individuals and $125 for a 5-person team. The deadline for the first tier of pricing is April 15, followed by May 1 and May 15. Those interested in participating in the United Way's Color Run on August 17 can add an extra $10 to their registration fee. To participate in the ABC Challenge, each participant (if over 18) or parent of a team member (if under 18) must sign a team waiver form.
