June 10 | Henderson County Campus | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cool. Automotive. Repair. A one-day introduction to the world of automobiles open to rising 7th through 9th graders. Students will explore automotive maintenance basics through a review of car design, roadside safety, and basic car care. This one-day C.A.R. camp is full of hands-on lab activities, including changing oil, checking tire pressure, and identifying parts. Participants will wrap up the day with a Pit-Crew Challenge. Students will be responsible for their lunch, drinks, and snacks throughout the day. Please bring a refillable water bottle with a lid each day. Dress Code: Students must wear long pants; a shirt/ top with sleeves; and closed-toe/ heel shoes (like tennis shoes) no flip flops or sandals. THE PREMIER Henderson County Speed Networking Event will be held in the Blue Ridge Conference Hall at Blue Ridge Community College – Henderson County Campus on Friday, June 20th, 2025! Don’t miss it! Is there Free Parking at the event? Yes, there is Free Parking in lots C&D. What should I bring to this event? Bring at least 100+ business cards, flyers, handouts, promotional products, etc to distribute to other attendees. Please also bring a door prize (optional, but requested). When should I arrive? Sponsors and Table Leaders: Setup is between 8am and 9am. Please have your table set up before we open for the General Admission ticket holders at 9am.
