Swing Unlimited Big Band present ‘ SUBB AT SUNSET’ Sunday, 6th July 2025 - 6 pm to 9 pm Swing Unlimited Big Band are back at Highcliffe Castle playing their "unlimited" range of music. Jazz and swing to R&B and pop. From Basie to the Blues Bros and everything between. This year the concert will be in the evening with the grounds opening at 6 PM to ticket holders and the music beginning at 7 PM. Tickets Tickets £16 (early bird £12 until 31 May) Castle Members £11.00 Refreshments & Seating The Castle Pantry will be open throughout the evening for you to purchase drinks and food. Parking Unlike previous years, the event capacity for SUBB at Sunset is set at 500 tickets. We will park the first 50 cars on the Castle Vista which will open at 5.30pm. Please do not arrive on site prior to this time as parking will not be available. Once the vista is full, please use the pay and display car park at Highcliffe Castle or follow the alternative parking options available on our website. Join us for an afternoon to celebrate the first harvest of the year. A chance to celebrate and connect with like-minded people. During this workshop you'll be making a corn dolly out of corn husks for you to use as decoration to mark the start of the harvest season or to use in your spiritual practice. As well as a seasonal centerpiece for your table using different dried herbs and flowers. You don’t need to bring anything with you as everything you’ll need to make your corn dolly and centrepiece will be provided by us. There will also be a cup of herbal tea included too, with a couple of different flavours to choose from. This workshop is suitable for beginners and advanced crafters. We will guide you throughout the workshop. Lughnasadh (pronounced LOO - nah - sah) is the first of the three autumn harvest festivals and it marks a pivotal turning point in the seasonal cycle. It's a celtic holiday, commonly observed by pagans, marking the first harvest and the start of the seasons changing. Lughnasadh is mainly the harvest of wheat, although other items are also harvested. Chloe also works part time supporting children with ASD and ADHD in a therapeutic educational setting. Abi is the founder of Moonlight and Rosewood. On completion of his filming for Channel 5, “The Great Auction Showdown with Paul Martin”, Paul has worked as Head of Valuations at Henry Aldridge & Son Ltd in Devizes, Wiltshire, the South West’s premier auctioneers of antiques and collector’s items with a worldwide reputation. His book ‘Paul Martin: My World of Antiques’ was published in November 2018. In the book Paul reveals untold stories of fantastic artefact finds, and tells us about the key to success in trading antiques.
