The Rotary Club of Henley on Thames is supporting Kidney Research UK in their important work by organising a sponsored walk. They are the largest kidney research charity in the UK, with an urgent mission to end kidney disease. They fund cutting edge research to change lives and are dedicated to understanding the causes of kidney disease, its treatments and finding a cure to stop it. We have chosen this charity as one of our members has kidney disease. She explains " Getting a diagnosis has been life-changing, it's raw and painful but with plenty of support and care from my renal team and family I have not had to face it alone. The money raised from doing this walk will go towards vital research into understanding the causes of this disease, improving treatment and finding cures for future generations." Join in a 3 mile walk on a pre-defined route, setting off from the Bottle and Glass Inn which is located at Bones Lane, Binfield Heath, Henley on Thames, Oxon RG9 4JT. Dogs are welcome. **Art Journalling for Wellbeing** is an art group based in the Wokingham area. Everyone is welcome but if you struggle with anxiety, depression or just find life is very stressful right now, you might find our sessions of particular interest.
