Hardee County 4-H Day Camp - Water Explorers Come join us at the Water Explorers Day Camp where we dive into the world of water! From aquatic creatures to water conservation, this camp is perfect for young nature enthusiasts. Our day will be filled with fun activities and hands-on learning. Want to learn about beef cattle production from field to your table? Join us to learn about the science behind producing safe, fresh, wholesome beef. We will embark on a field trip that expands from the ranch to the auction barn. Later we will enjoy some good beef, as we learn about food saftey beyond the farm. 2025 Fall Orange Blossom Ball Join us for the Fall Orange Blossom Ball! Date: September 27, 2025 Time: 7pm-11pm (Doors open at 6:30pm) Location: 515 Civic Center Drive, Wauchula, FL, USA Attendees: Homeschool students & their guest (ages 12+) Get ready for a night of fun, laughter, and dancing at the 2025 Fall Orange Blossom Ball. This in-person formal event for homeschool and small private school students ages 12+ will take place at the beautiful Hardee County Civic Center located in Wauchula, FL. Jane Austen Era ballroom dances will be taught during the event and will include the Virginia Reel, Carolina Promenade, Trip to Paris, Spanish Waltz, Duke of Kent Waltz, and Waterfall Waltz. Participation requirements may be found below. Dress up and put on your dancing shoes because we're going to have a blast! Ball Details Participants (Students, 12+) Attendees are encouraged to participate in the dances throughout the evening. Joining in the dances, socializing with friends in the common areas, and treating each other respectfully will ensure an enjoyable event for all! Participation is consent to being photographed and videoed, which may be posted to social media. Parents (Chaperones) Ticketed parents are welcome to attend and opportunities to serve can be selected during ticket purchase. We appreciate all the help we can get to make this event so wonderful! Ladies of all ages are REQUIRED to wear: Ankle-length or floor-length formal dresses (NO high/low, NO sundresses) Dresses with modest necklines and shoulder straps Dress shoes for dancing. Please keep this in mind when choosing a shoe. This form of dance is beautiful & athletic. Please assess your dress while moving your arms in all directions as well as twirling, bending, hunching, or turning quickly. Modesty panels will be available for purchase at the door for necklines out of compliance.
