Activities include scavenger hunts, team-building exercises, craft projects, outdoor games, creek exploration, nature hikes, and meetings with live animals, among many other fun experiences. WHAT TO BRING: We encourage campers to pack a healthy lunch, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen(please apply prior to going), and insect repellent. Don’t forget a backpack—please label all items with your camper's name! WHAT TO WEAR: Campers should wear comfortable, rugged clothes and shoes that can handle a little dirt to make the most of their outdoor adventures. Layering is key for changing weather. It's a good idea to pack extra socks, sturdy hiking boots or tennis shoes, and rain boots. A raincoat, umbrella, and rain boots are highly recommended if rain is in the forecast. Calling all adventure seekers! Get ready to explore, discover, and connect with nature in a fun and interactive way. Join us for an exciting two-day geocaching camp where kids can embark on a thrilling outdoor treasure hunt! Using technology to unravel clues and coordinates, participants will search for hidden treasures—called "caches"—scattered throughout Austintown Township Park. They will also create their own geocaches to hide. Want to learn more about this exciting outdoor adventure? Check out geocaching.com for all the details.
