This event is a tribute to the iconic dance form that revolutionized the Bronx, NY in the early 1980s and became a way of life for a local group of Princeton dancers. Influenced by the famous breakdance crews, The Rock Steady Crew and NYC Breakers, these talented dancers formed the group Top Rockers. With their skills honed at the Arts Council of Princeton, they quickly rose to prominence and took on local dance crews in Mercer County, achieving great success. Their shining moment came when they triumphed over a Bronx dance crew in a head-to-head battle during a dance competition at Kendall Park Skating Rink.
