The Highbury Chamber Choir's Christmas 2024 concert starts with works for double choir by Victoria, followed by verse anthems by Orlando Gibbons and Henry Purcell. In the second half, we will sing motets by Brahms and Bruckner and finish with Bach's motet 'Jesu Meine Freude'. There will be organ and viol continuo accompaniment. Building on the success of our previous live recorded podcast episode, we want to keep developing a space where artists feel in safe company; to share their work, and receive creative critique from other artists.
