The Inclusive Open Court Tennis Festival Afternoon Session is a highly anticipated event taking place on November 16, 2023, at the Wirral Tennis & Sports Centre in Birkenhead. This festival is designed for young people aged 10-19 with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) who are interested in experiencing the joys of tennis. The event will run from 1pm to 3pm, offering participants the opportunity to engage in various tennis activities. At the Inclusive Open Court Tennis Festival Afternoon Session, attendees will have the chance to explore walking tennis, social tennis, and match tennis in a fully inclusive environment. Qualified specialist coaches will be on hand to guide and support participants throughout the event. It is important to note that one ticket should be purchased per two participating pupils. For example, if there are six pupils attending, three tickets should be purchased. This festival aims to create an inclusive and welcoming space for young people with SEND to discover and enjoy the sport of tennis. Due to its popularity, tickets for the event have already sold out.
