Advanced Digital Workshop
This Saturday hands-on workshop focuses on a methodology for designing the composition, the importance of light for creating depth and volume, the intention behind the image, consideration of cultural symbols,
 
using Light Room Classic for post-production with advanced image processing and finding ones creative voice through a review of ones and the other participant's images. 
In the morning we begin by analyzing historic and contemporary images through the lens of 
compositional techniques & lighting considering intention
. We keep an eye out for how lighting & composition work together to create compelling images. Next we shoot 
professional models
 and do a 
live editing session in LightRoom using more advanced tools and techniques
 finishing with a slide show. During the edit we analyze participant images with the same criteria used for composition, lighting and intention from the previous section. The goal is creating 
touch points for considering images,
whether they be in the camera viewfinder during shooting or as finished images. 
If you ever been at a cross roads about what to shoot, how to cultivate a lens based art practice or how to 
energize your image making
, this workshop is for you. 
Special emphasis is given to placing ones work in an 
historical and contemporary context
 while identifying 
personal threads of interest
 for inspiration be they technical or aesthetic. 
The workshop is geared toward DSLR and Mirrorless cameras and limited to 6 participants.
