Join the celebration of the April School Holidays at Subiaco Library's Art in April program featuring Character Drawings with the renowned artist Karen Blair. Taking place on Tuesday, 9th April from 1pm to 2.30pm at Rankin Gardens in Subiaco, this event is open to ages 9 and above. Tickets for this engaging session will be available for purchase starting Monday, 25th March at 9.30 am. Award-winning illustrator and author, Karen Blair, will share her expert techniques for maximizing the potential of watercolors. With a passion for drawing characters of all ages, Karen draws inspiration from her surroundings. Participants are advised to wear suitable attire as this is a hands-on art activity that may involve getting messy. Art in April aims to nurture young artists, preparing them for the upcoming Shaun Tan Award for Young Artists. Note that children aged six and above must be accompanied by an adult who must stay within the library premises during the event.
