Join the Fort Point Arts Community at the FPAC Assemblage Gallery in Boston for a captivating event, the ARTIST TALK: A Potter and A painter. This event will delve into the process and works featured in the show, showcasing the collaborative efforts of Boston-based artists Linda Huey and John S. Dykes. Linda, a talented ceramicist, has crafted an impressive collection of ceramic pots, plates, and vases. John, a skilled painter and illustrator, has responded to Linda's works with whimsical and slightly irreverent detailed designs, resulting in a vibrant exhibit. By combining their artistic endeavors, Linda and John aim to explore the creative discoveries that can arise from the interplay between different mediums. In addition to their collaborative pieces, this show will also exhibit their respective solo works, offering visitors a unique perspective on how artistic ideas evolve and transform when combined. The artists will share their experiences during a gallery talk on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 5:00 - 6:00 PM.
