Whitburn Archers is offering a Beginners Course / Taster Session for those interested in learning archery. This course provides flexibility, allowing participants to complete any 4 sessions at their convenience. The sessions will take place on January 13, 20, and 27, as well as February 3, 10, 17, and 24, 2024, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm. Whitburn Archers provides all necessary equipment, so participants only need to bring themselves. Qualified coaches and experienced archers will be available to provide guidance and support throughout the sessions. This course is open to both adults and juniors. Adults of any age are welcome, while juniors must be at least 8 years old and capable of following instructions. Juniors under 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the course. Wheelchair users, visually impaired individuals, hearing impaired individuals, and those with varying levels of physical ability are also welcome. Whitburn Archers aims to be autism/spectrum friendly and will provide additional support upon request. Please note that photography and video recordings may be taken during the course for promotional purposes, but participants can opt out by contacting the organizers.
