The Bicycle Maintenance Workshop - Cleaning & Lubrication is a comprehensive program aimed at equipping participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure the longevity of their bikes. Hosted by Cotton Town Bikes in Darwen, this workshop is completely free, thanks to the generous support from Cycling UK's Big Bike Revival Project 2023. By attending this workshop, attendees will gain insights into the importance of bike cleaning and lubrication, as well as learn about chemical safety and health considerations. They will also be taught the proper techniques for cleaning and lubricating their bikes, along with which cleaners and lubricants to use (and avoid). Moreover, participants will discover how excessive cleaning and over-lubrication can result in unnecessary expenses. To ensure convenience, the workshop is scheduled from 18:00 to 21:00, with a Q&A session from 21:00 to 21:15. Due to limited availability, it is recommended to secure a spot in advance.
