Join the Boise Banned Book Club at their December Meetup and Holiday Party. This special event marks their one-year anniversary and will take place at Nine to Five in Eagle on December 28, 2023. The featured book for this meetup is "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret" by Judy Blume. You can purchase this book through Bookshop.org, listen to the audiobook on Libro.Fm, or borrow it from your local library. Before attending the event, make sure to familiarize yourself with the Book Club Values. The evening will begin with a meet and greet from 6:30-7pm, followed by a book discussion starting at 7pm. As it is a holiday party, there will be a book exchange and potluck. Wrap or package a book to gift to another book club member, and don't forget to write a note about why you loved the book. Bring a tasty treat to share with the group, preferably finger foods. The event will include sign-in, introductions, book club updates, discussion breakouts led by a volunteer moderator, the book exchange, and a potluck.
