Learn the art of creating your very own Magnolia flower using clay at the Ceramic Magnolia Flowers| Adult Class +16 workshop. Held at Artspace in Raleigh, this two-part workshop will take place on Thursday November 9th and 16th. Led by the experienced instructor, Oami Powers, participants will be guided through techniques and best practices for working with clay. During the first part of the workshop, you will focus on forming your clay and shaping your Magnolias. The greenware will then be fired by Artspace, and in the second part of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to add bursts of color to your creations by applying glaze. Please note that a final firing in the kiln will be required, and you will be asked to return to Artspace within a few days to collect your finished artworks.
