Join ICE Robotics in a fun, hands-on, STEM focused coding workshop featuring VEX Go. Participants will work in small teams to:
- Build functional robots using intuitive, tool-less components
- Code their creations using block-based programming (Scratch-based interface)
- Test and iterate their designs through engaging, challenge-based activities
- Present their working robots and share insights with the group.
For children ages 9-12 years.
Location: Toronto Public Library - North York Central Library, Room 101.
About our presenter:
ICE Robotics
 is a Not-For-Profit Corporation, that offers STEM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs for school age children. The team believes that an early introduction to STEM through hands-on education allows students to approach similar concepts in the classroom with a more enriched perspective. As students progress they are stimulated to make real world connections and explore endless possibilities in the world of STEM!
