The Cornerstone Community Church proudly sponsors the 2023 Turkey Bowl, a highly anticipated annual Flag Football Tournament for ages 14 and up. Taking place on Saturday, November 18 at the Northgate Park in Manteca, California, this event promises an exciting day of competitive sportsmanship. Teams of 6 will battle it out on the field, with a maximum roster size of 10. Registration begins at 10am, and the tournament kicks off at 10:30am sharp. To secure your spot, team captains must complete the registration process. The fee for participation is $100 per team. It is mandatory for all players to submit a waiver either online or in person before stepping onto the field. If any team members are below 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign the waiver on their behalf. Rest assured that all teams will have the opportunity to play at least 3 games during the tournament. Teams will first engage in a round-robin format to determine seeding. Following this, a single-elimination tournament will commence, with teams being eliminated upon their first loss. The victorious team will be rewarded with a special prize. Please note that all team members must be present for check-in before 10:30am. Rules and expectations will be communicated to participants prior to the start of the tournament.
