Welcome to the Dear Black Woman Retreat, a transformative weekend experience designed to create a safe and empowering space for black women. This is an opportunity to come together and heal, reclaiming parts of ourselves that have been repressed. Through sisterhood, we can redefine ourselves and embrace our authentic selves. The retreat will take place in Tacoma, Washington at the beautiful Kay's Paint Joint. From April 12th to April 14th, you can join us for a series of engaging activities and workshops. On Friday evening, we will kick off the retreat with the Dear Black Woman: Networking Soiree from 7pm to 10pm. This will be a chance to connect with other black women and build a supportive community. On Saturday, the Dear Black Woman: Day Retreat will take place from 9am to 4pm. This immersive experience will include a range of workshops such as the Self Love Workshop, Art Healing Bar, and Affirmations Journaling. You'll have the opportunity to explore your creativity, share your stories, and learn from inspiring speakers like Salenna Green. In the evening, join us for the elegant Dear Black Woman: Gala & Dinner from 8pm to 11pm. This will be a night of celebration, where we honor our resilience and achievements. We will conclude the retreat on Sunday with the Dear Black Woman: Brunch & Closing Ceremony from 11am to 2pm.
