The Fox Valley Tough Kid Challenge 2023 is an upcoming obstacle course event and fundraiser organized by the Appleton Area School District's physical education departments. This event aims to promote physical activity among children aged 5 to 13 while raising funds to enhance the district's physical education programs. Participants will face a variety of kid-friendly yet challenging obstacles over a course that is approximately 1.55 miles long. The event will take place on October 7, 2023, at Highlands Elementary School located at 2037 North Elinor Street, Appleton, WI 54914. Unlike previous years, the course will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., allowing participants to complete it at their convenience. Each participant will receive a commemorative event T-shirt. The registration fee is $15 per participant, but after September 30, it will increase to $20. Parents can accompany their child for free by signing a waiver on the day of the event. Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable, even in the case of injury, emergencies, or event cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control. However, participants can transfer their entry to another individual by following the provided procedure.
