The We Can Move Event 2026 | Kingsholm Stadium

Inspiring Action, Enabling Innovation, Connecting People. Come and join us for the We Can Move Event 2026! Inspir ing action, enabl ing innovation , connect ing p eople . Change is something we all live with. By approaching it together, we can turn uncertainty into shared action and stronger partnerships, creating steadier ground for the work we all care about. The We Can Move Event 2026 is a chance to spend a day learning from one another and strengthening the relationships that keep this movement going. It’s a space to pause, reconnect with why we do this work and explore new ideas that help us support our communities with confidence. Across the day you’ll hear from speakers who bring fresh perspectives and spark new thinking. You can choose from a mix of practical workshops indoors or more energising sessions outdoors, depending on what you need. There will also be an Innovation and Skills area where you can try out tools, explore approaches others have tested and pick up things you can take back into your day-to-day work. Just as importantly, there will be time to talk. Time to meet new partners, reconnect with familiar faces and share the challenges and opportunities that shape your work. These conversations often lead to unexpected ideas and collaborations, so we’ve built in generous space for them. We Can Move 2026 has an ambition for you to leave with something useful, feel encouraged and know that none of us are trying to navigate change alone. Our county is full of people who care deeply about creating active, healthy and connected communities. When those people meet, things move. Join us, bring your perspective and be part of shaping what comes next for the We can move movement. INSPIRE Sessions Our Inspire sessions offer time to explore ideas and approaches that make a real difference in practice. Indoors, workshops focus on themes like leading through change, understanding inclusion and supporting people through transitions. Outdoors, you can take part in wellbeing walks, Children and Young People play activities or active sessions that refresh your energy and reconnect you with purpose. Why it’s valuable for you: You leave with practical insights, renewed clarity and a sense of motivation that carries into your everyday work. CONNECT Spaces Connection is at the heart of the We can move movement, so we’ve created relaxed, themed spaces that make it easy to talk to others who understand the realities of your world. Whether you want to explore collaboration opportunities, share challenges or simply hear what others are trying, throughout the day these themed spaces give you the freedom to follow the conversations that matter most. Why it’s valuable for you: You meet people who broaden your thinking, open doors and help build shared solutions across Gloucestershire. ENABLE Hub The Innovation and Skills Hub is all about getting hands-on. You can explore tools, resources and ideas that others have tried, talk through challenges with people who’ve taken similar steps and pick up templates or approaches that make change and making a difference feel more achievable. Why it’s valuable for you: You gain practical skills and ready-to-use resources that strengthen your organisation and your work with communities.
